If at all possible do not buy from this facility. There are ethical breeders in the state of Indiana. This place needs to be shut down asap. From the countless reports to the state and the county it is well assumed she has connections to keep her mill open. I have visited this facility on numerous occasions. Others also have photographic proof of the swine that are mere skin and bones. I also have photos of the deploritory conditions these animals live in. This breeder buys from auction, Craig's list and other breeders and resells the piglets are their own. Lies and tells the public her pigs are the parents. This breeder is not legally licensed in the state of Indiana to sell any animals. The webpage and Facebook page claims they are. There are more than 70 documented cases of piglets with parasites and mange. The pigs are bred back to back with no breaks. Pay close attention to the pages. There are numerous litters each month. This breeder claims that she has been raising pigs for around 8 years. This is not true. This breeder tried to raise goats and that did not bring in enough profit. This breeder does not take responibility for the sick animals she sells. By buying from this breeder you are not saving these animals. You are only filling their pocket book. More money more animals equals more sales of over and inbred pigs.

Flithy, emancipated, young, overbred pigs. The sheer amount of piglets on your Facebook and Webpage shows you breed for profit. My whole family liked your business page just to follow the obnoxious numbers of piglets you are breeding. I do not have to say my name or the name of your clients here. In fact just this last week my son and daughter-in-law came to your house just to take more photos. They also purchased a piglet. They made sure to pick the most pathetic looking one. Would you like me to post a copy of the vet paperwork to show your imaginary supporters just how sick this piglet is?

FRAUDULENT

AUTHOR: OWNER - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, October 20, 2016

The woman behind all these posts: Stop being so desperate to get ahead in this world with your business that you will DO ANYTHING to get ahead. You try to tear down anyone's businesses that are a threat to yours. I have numerous reports and people who you have been nasty, mean, hurtful, and rude to only because they are within driving distance of your business. I have people willing to testify that you called them before purchasing telling them to not buy from us.. I have screenshots of conversations with you and another breeder with you admitting to her all the things that you have done to me. I have emails, text messages, and posts. I WILL NOT stoop to your level and attempt to do all the horrible, nasty things that you have done to me, but I will however STOP you from doing this to anyone else. You are a COWARD who is AFRAID to say your name on here. You apparently don't really think my lawyer is "fake" or you would say your real name as the author of these posts. PROVE this person is my client: If they have really been to my house in March, what kind of vehicles do we drive? What kind of police car is my husbands? What is the color of my cat? What does it look like in my house? What end of the house do my children stay? Are the pigs that are outside in back or the front of my house?? YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCURATELY answer all these questions because the clients you are "creating" that were at my house were never there. Keep posting these nasty things...it is just being added to your case. The more you do, the deeper hole you dig for yourself. Oh, and I'm glad I'm on your mind twenty four hours a day that you are so obsessed with me, you can't go 24 hours without sticking your nose where it doesn't belong. The only time you are on my mind is when I'm playing dodge ball to all of your annoying lies. I actually have a farm to run and a family to raise. Why don't you try doing the same.

I love my piggie.

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, October 19, 2016

We visited Jennah's home in March. The pens were really muddy but the pigs did have shelters. We hadn't had any rain so not sure why it was like that. The pigs outside looked like they were healthy. Some of the pigs didn't have water. She told us that they would get a refill soon. We didn't do any research before getting our piggie Sampson. We didn't get to walk around and see all of the pigs. She took us inside the house to show us the babies in the nursery they we're really cute. I thought it looked like there was too many in one spot. There was a lot of poop and a lot of pee. The smell absolutely took your breathe away. We asked a lot if questions. She did answer all of them.

Our main concern was how the piggie would do with our dog. She told us her dog plays with the piggies. So because we didn't know much about our new piggie we started reading on the internet. We bought books. One of the things we learned about was body condition. The outside pigs we thought looked healthy were underweight. There shouldnt have been so many babies in one pin. Piggies should always have water. Piggies need more than the kind of shelter they have. The most important thing we learned was dogs and piggies shouldnt be left together. We do understand we should have researched more. We could have learned this stuff before hand.

Our piggie dont have a tail or ears anymore. Sampson goes everywhere with us. When asked where we got him and what happened to him we tell our story. We will not recommend this breeder to anyone. Not once did she try and talk us out of it. She shouldnt have sold us a piggie. It wasnt just the dog pig thing. We have had to move too. The city told us we couldnt keep Sampson. When we spoke to Jennah on the phone she raised her voice and told us we paid for him and he isn't her responsibility anymore. We felt like Jennah should have been honest with us. I wish We had paid online now instead of cash. I would have requested a refund.

POSTED: Wednesday, October 19, 2016

Really? Learn what a PREMISE ID is... that has been posted on our website for months now, and we have had the premise ID for years! That is EXACTLY WHAT I have been talking about the entire time through out my posts against your false claims! To cover every measure, we even re-registered our Premise ID under our business name! Thanks for more proof of your slander towards us. We have subpoenaed the website for your information for the court. We have furthered our legal action against you. (I know who you are by the way)

Satisfied customer

AUTHOR: Shar - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, October 19, 2016

I'm a very recent customer of Violets Mini Pigs.  I've wanted a piggy for quite awhile and checked a few other places out before we committed to getting one.

We visited Jennah's business and we were shown the whole place by her husband and we looked at all the babies and all the piggies outside also.  In my opinion she has a awesome set up to let anybody interested in getting a mini piggy to see how this is done.

Nothing was hid from us and he answered any and all questions we had that day.  No pressure to buy a mini from them at all.

I kept in touch with her because i knew i wanted to get one i just needed to see that "special" one.  When "Petey" was posted i fell in love!  We brought him home with us on the 13th and he sure is special!  We love the little guy so much!  Such a personality in such a little guy!

I can't say I've known this family for years and years and this is wrong.  But i can say i've only known them a very short time and this story is just wrong.  I would recommend Violets Mini Pigs (Jennah) to everyone that wants to buy or just go see mini pigs.

Wonderful Breeder

AUTHOR: Kyla - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 19, 2016

Jennah is a wonderful breeder with high intelligence. She is one who cares a lot about her piglets, unlike some breeders who are just in it for the money. Jennah has the biggest heart and would do anything for her pigs. I had bought my baby off her last year, every time I had a issue or question Jennah was always there to help. Even had me bring my baby to her when she became really sick, she fought for my piglet and done everything we knew to do but we both believe my baby was poisoned and didn't pull through. Can you tell me how many people you know that would try to help save a sick pig and stay up several hours in the night to help with whatever she can. I have been to her house several times and I have never once had any concern about any of the pigs. They all are healthy looking and well taken care of. As fr as you saying you have received some of her pigs and they have mange, sores, etc. Seems odd that you would "rescue" them from people who had them in the first place, but yet you blame jennah and say she has sick pigs. That in no way is the truth and for you to accuse her of what you are is just crazy. Maybe you should get your facts straight and be more honest with what your post instead of pointing and accusing, if I had to guess I would say it's jealousy. I mean come on jennah is one hell of a breeder and is one amazing person, but for some reason you have to truly show how miserable you are by trying to knock a good person who actually cares a lot for her animals and has a big heart.

Violets Pigs: a great business

AUTHOR: Samantha - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 19, 2016

Violets pigs focuses on the health and well being of its pigs. I am in the process of purchasing a pig from her and she has made sure I know the facts about pigs. They can be any size, she does not promise crazy weight limitations like other breeders do. She provides helpful information for properly caring for her pigs. She also messages back extremely fast and makes sure her customers are 100% satisfied. She cares for her pigs. She makes sure they are properly fed and socialized. She does not rip them away from their mother like other breeders do. Her pigs are not sold too soon. She only sells them when they are healthy and old enough. The owner truly cares about the health of her pigs and that is more I can say about other businesses I have looked into. This report is FALSE and needs to be deleted.

Disgusting Slander

AUTHOR: Moosie - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 19, 2016

I myself have been to the business called Violet mini pig. Everytime I've gone it has been clean the animals have been healthy. I have even been there in a emergency situation as a walk in late at night into the home with the family present. The owner of this business is very friendly and helpful to all her customers and to others that just need help. There is a group that continually try to harm this business. Not understanding they are portraying themselves and any business they are associated with in such a negative way by continually degrading a good person/ business. I would like to thank Violets mini pigs for keeping in touch with all of us and continual of new information daily. You madam are a service to all those picky parents.

As usual with the false allegations, there is no proof that can be verified. We have asked MULTIPLE times for the contact information of the "supposed housed and sick" pigs' owners that are being taken in/surrendered, and never can any one provide any contact information. Your failure to even post your real name in these reports proves this is all false and you are hiding in order to tear our business down. We work diligently to stay in contact with the families that have our pigs. Learn the rules for the state of INDIANA before falsley accusing. That's great, how someone below posted about an improperly placed microchip, and now you have fabricated claims of an "abcess from an improperly placed microchip." I am not a saint, I am continually working to learn more, improve more, and make our hard working, family business better. We welcome suggestions to improve and make us better everyday. Try focusing on the breeders out there that are actually selling sick piglets. We rescue them often, and pointless drama like this takes us away from focusing on the people out there that actually need help. That was 'polite' of you to bash my intelligence. More proof of what someone will go to in order to put someone else down. Hope this all makes you feel better about yourself.

Never once stated the call was made when the last statement was made. No lies here. All fact. You do require a license. That is how the word is correctly spelled. Your grammar is horrible. It has taken many calls over the past year. Not only myself but others also. My wife and I own 5 of your pigs. All of them came to us from your customers. One of them was covered in sores. It took nearly 7 months for him to fully recover. Another one of the boars had a microchip that improperly inserted. Upon further investigation your vet did not put in the chip.

We assume it was done by you. That pig suffered from an almost deadly abscess from the incorrect injection. The 3 gilts came to us all within the same month. Each of them covered in mites and sores. So you can continue to try and make yourself sound like a saint. It will get you no where. Your health contract is hilarious. 3 were all alike and then 2 were different. 4 of these pigs came from our of state. No out of state certificates were obtained. That is against the law in all 50 states.

Malicious slander

AUTHOR: DWisdom - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 18, 2016

I first met Jennah Sieg when my daughter purchased a pig from her last year. We went to Jennah's home to pick up the pig and upon our arrival we were ushered into her home and shown to the pig room where the babies are kept. Jennah showed us weaned piglets, potty training piglets, nursing piglets and basically every pig and piglet there. Nothing was hidden, I even went outside and checked out the outside pigs. Everything was above board and in great condition. Jennah was open, friendly and I would and do actively encourage people wanting or thinking about getting a piglet to contact her.

She doesn't just sell you a piglet and consider the transaction finished. She is always available for advice and goes above and beyond for pig owners and not just for the people she sells to but for any pig owner. You can tell Jennah truly loves her pigs by the way she conducts her business. "Do Your Homework" apparently needs to file false, malicious reports intended to harm Jennah's business for reasons known to them. I quite frankly think Jennah needs to file a lawsuit against this person or persons as everything I read was false, inflammatory and designed to cause harm. Jennah's name was even spelled incorrectly.

I have had an excellent experience with Violet's Mini Pigs. Jennah has always been up front and honest about what to expect and how to care for our pig. She has been extremely helpful and always available to answer or address any and all of our questions or concerns. I have personally been to her house more than once and all of her babies are well taken care of, not once did i see a malnurished pig or piglet. INDIANA DOES NOT LISCENSE MINI PIG BREEDERS

AUTHOR: Jennah Sieg, proud owner and operator - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 18, 2016

I will no longer argue with "whomever" has posted this. We have nothing to defend, for we are not in the wrong. Being "liscensed," and having a premise ID are two different things. Market pigs are absolutely required to have a liscense, as well as a specific canine breeders with a larger populas. We actively work with the Indiana board of animal health. Happy pig, happy owner

AUTHOR: Happy mama - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 18, 2016

I, too, have been to Violet's Mini Pigs. Before visiting, I researched numerous breeders. While this particular breeder is not AMPA registered, that does not by default mean she is a bad breeder. I also researched AMPA breeders in the area, and found 2, 1 of which is in Indiana. After obtaining information on both, as well as this breeder and a few others, I determined the biggest difference between the registered breeders and Violet's was in price....one place charged 5 times as much. Based on pictures of the breeding stock on these websites, all of the pigs were being kept in approximately the same type of enclosures. I spoke with the owner at length before deciding to commit to a piglet. Once the decision was made, I received updates and pictures of the piglet I chose. These pictures included shots taken with the momma. Upon picking up my piglet( from the correct address of the property, not the random one listed on this complaint), I first walked the property. I was shown the nursery, where the piglets are kept once momma weans them and are then socialized with children and litter trained. I saw the birthing house, the very same one in the photographs of my piglet, which was currently housing one new momma and her day old babies. The breeding stock were all kept in multiple pens, with plenty of room to move about and graze, mud to play in, and shelter from the elements. They were also far from emaciated, friendly and social. I brought my new pig to a vet to have her checked thoroughly. This included a sample to check for parasites. Not only did the sample come back negative, as to be expected for a properly wormed pig, but the veterinarian was impressed with the condition of her skin and hair. The only issue I have had was with the microchip my piglet came with, which started to work it's way out. I brought this to the attention of Jennah, and she immediately responded with concern and consideration. She has since referred the information to her vet, in order to prevent any issues in the future. Jennah is a compassionate breeder, who loves these pig babies beyond their time at her home. Above that, she does occasionally rescue as well, and rehomes those she is able to help. Logic dictates that no breeder can possibly be so transparent to buyers to willingly show all of her property and pigs and give the contact information for the vet that treats them, yet so devious as to try to pass off second hand babies as her own.

I bought my little guy from this business. I have nothing but good things to say. Having owned product pigs and mini pigs before and having a good background on information and vet sciences I did my own research before coming to them. When I got there she went through and gave me all the information and showed me everything I needed to know. It was such a positive experience and she delivered all the correct information. She did not once fabricate any information on care or actual size and I recommend her to everyone who asks. I have a few people who went to her and they have nothing but good things to say too. There is even a support group for any questions that the owners have later too. The piglets are well cared for and the new owners are given responsible information when purchasing their oink baby. I don't know how experiences could be so different... But I think people should know from someone that really is a customer.
