vxi global solutions directv call center this company is no less then a sweat shop. they under pay their employees and cheat them out of their "incentives". Directv has contracted this company to answer all their sale call, los angeles , California

 This company is no less then a sweat shop. VXI global solutions employees are treated like crap. This company is contracted by Directv. As a former employee  I think the nation should know about this call center. 

This call center requires their employees to have a 40% coversion just to make $5.00 a sale; it might sound easy, but when 50% of the calls coming in are existing customers that already have service, and just want to pay a bill or just want to order a movie its nearly impossible. Their pay scale is unobtainable and then to make matters worse even if you have 50 sales if you didnt sell 40% you dont get paid for your sales.  WHAT?

They also rip off their employees by requiring them to work all 40 Hours per week to get paid commision even if there is an emergency. My child was sick I had to miss 1 day of work to take him to the Doctor. They keep all my commission because i didnt have my 40 hours even with a doctors note.

They required us to work Monday, the day after New years day and said we would get paid time and a half, but lied and only paid us our 10.00 per hour, they only recognize 2 holidays a year.
Thanksgiving, Christmas.  I hope Directv doesnt condone this type of employee abuse.

When i tried to complain to the manager of the call center i was demoralized and told that "the door is huge you can leave anytime if you dont like it." Im glad i no longer work for this company and beware anyone who is considering working for them they truly treat their employees like dirt and rip you off for the commission that directv pays them $170.00 per sale.

                   I've had customers who worked at the local call center here. They usually only work about 6 months or less and then end up quiting or being fired. After 90 days if they were still working for the call center. They got a  free Directv system. 
                  May be you should read some of the complaints on this site. Then go read this article       http://dca.lacounty.gov/alertDirectvSettlement.html       . Then talk to some installers and dealers . Then I think you will find the answer to your question. As to what Directv might condone . 
                Directv as called me 4 times over the past 1 1/2  . Wanting me to sign back up with as a Dealer.  But in order to keep my agreement with them . I would have to install 24 new systems a quarter.  Then 90 days after I drop below the quotta . I would then be dropped has a dealer for them.  
                Over the past 3 years the two largest dealer's in my area . One closed their doors and the other moved their business .  If they can't make the quarterly quotta . Then what chance does a little guy me have of making it.               
                Then why bother wasting my time signing back up. I myself like everyone else. Would like to be able to work. But you have to make your decision if this job is really worth having.
                 Also for those of you who are in Cox Cable area . Apparently their contract with ESPN is up. Cox is considering dropping ESPN and replacing them with something else. You guessed it  ESPN wants to increase the price to Cox.
                A few years ago Cox and ESPN got into it over a price increase. Back then I read an article whereby ESPN considered bankruptcy or going PPV. I wonder what they will decide this time. 
               Which one will give in first and which Cable Company is next........
               HBO has also seen a decline of consumers ordering their service and dropping them. To make up for the loss in revenue. They've been renting their movies to Netflix. So HBO is also considering a price increase to Netflix. So how long before Netflix is forced to increase their monthly rates.
