Have had it with wachovia dealer services and the high intereste rate16.01. Beat it at 1.9 on a new vehicle, told them to come and get the tahoe i had.Customer service rep Tammy, told me they would not come and get it and i was going to pay for it.I then spoke with Anthony. Could not deal with him and his flamming queen voice and attitude. I got very  upset and very angry, so i unloaded a mouth full of words to him i can't put in this report. They seem not to listen to me and wanted to talk about me being so up set.I Finally told him to send someone out here to get this vehicle, and he said no. I don't understand because several months ago, i was told by Anthony that they had vehicles dissapearing and thought they were gpoing to Mexico, but they were not going after them, so i guess the existing customers, have to make up the loss for these dealers that finance anyone have caused them.. They have added insurance twice and i never recouped all the mponey they added to the account. They have no phone number in california, except the 800-289-8004. It's an automated account service, no real people to speak with. they call be fore a payment is due, have added a payment some where msking mr 3 months behind. That's why I took 2 payments and put down on a new vehicel. They are not regulated by the n.c. banking commission, so no help from them.

All I Can Say Is Good luck

AUTHOR: Cory - (U.S.A.)

I hope that new car you bought lasts you 7 years at least, cause you're gonna being paying out the butt for everything else because of that repo' and write off. That 16.01% is going to look cheap for the next 7 years on any charge card or loan. Kind of like those folks that bought a second, cheaper house before they let their first house go in foreclousure. But what the heck, what are they gonna do, send you to Iraq?

Let me get this straight...

You got tired of your old loan agreement so you just decided to stop paying on it? You do realize that you still have an obligation to Wachovia even though you purchased another vehicle?

"Could not deal with him and his flamming queen voice and attitude. I got very  upset and very angry, so i unloaded a mouth full of words to him i can't put in this report."

Why would you do this? Did it help you with your situation?

"I Finally told him to send someone out here to get this vehicle, and he said no. No, you just have to pay them whatever you originally agreed to pay them.

"They have added insurance twice and i never recouped all the mponey they added to the account."

Did you have adequate insurance in place when they added their own policies?

"They have no phone number in california, except the 800-289-8004. Well, as others have noted you are still stuck with your responsibility here. The bank is going to auction the Tahoe off where it will probably be sold to a used car dealer who didn't bid anywhere near what you still owe on it. Then they are going to take that balance and stick any additional fees that you agreed to on top of it and send your bill off to collections.

Your credit report is going to show your new car loan, a repossession and a default on a debt of thousands (or tens of thousands) of dollars.

Who is Ripping who off?

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

From what you have written you intentionally stopped paying on this loan and got another car.

They will eventually come and get the car, but if you think that is the end of it you are very mistaken.  They will sell the vehicle at auction for about 25%-30% of Blue Book and you are still responsible for the deficiency balance, and have a repossession on your credit.  If you do not pay the balance they probably will take you to court and sue you.  Once they get a judgment depending on the state they can garnish your wages, attach your bank accounts, or even place another lien on your new car.

If you think 16.01 was a high interest rate just wait until you try and get another vehicle in a few years.  With a repossession on your report, you will wish you could get one that good.

By the way on the insurance every finance company requires you to carry full coverage at minimum levels.  This not only includes liability but comprehensive and collision.  If you do not have those per the loan agreement you signed they are allowed to put "forced place" insurance on your loan.

WHAT?

AUTHOR: JandJMommie - (USA)

You just stopped making payment on a loan and told them to pick up the truck? And took the payments for that loan and went out and got a new car? You do realize when they finally auction it off you are going to owe thousands in the difference between the loan and what it sold for.......right? And you just destroyed your credit ( and they will sock it to you........with very good right to)which means everything from credit cards to insurance is going to cost you more. So your 'savings' by  defaulting on this loan on purpose and getting a new car with lower interest are gonna cost you a heck of a lot more in the end. Next time just refi the stupid truck!
