The Walmart Money Card " System " is broken . They allowed thieves at an ATM in England to withdraw $760 USD from my account on Saturday & Sunday 3/1/2014 & 3/2/2014 . My rent is due this Wednesday 3/5/2014 and am unable to pay my rent . When calling customer service in the Philippines all they did was to apologize , and basicly said there is nothing they can do .  

It is difficult for me to understand what it was they were trying to say , even though they speak English . There is no phone numbers to contact Walmart Money Card personel , even though their headquaters are located in , Monrovia California , the state in which I live . The Walmart Money Card organization does not care about it customers , why do you think their call center is located in the Philippines , and there is no address to the headquarters in California , just a P.O. Box number .

Out of sight and no way to contact them in the United States . Their system is broken and easily HACKED by computer savvy criminals . When you want to pay money to the Walmart Money Card , no problem , just go to any Walmart store and go to the Money Center desk . When money disappears from your card , for whatever reason , you have to go to the Philippines , with no guarantee that your money will be returned .

I was under the impression that Walmart operates with Christian Values in mind . I guess they forgot about , what was that one again , oh yea . Thou Shall Not Steal !

 email I sent to Green Dot and Walmart...this happened to 100s like you recently...nobody will help us!

Lady I spoke with could not speak English this morning so now I know why!!

I and hundreds of other Walmart money card customers have accounts that were hacked into by a group in Dagenham, England (near London) between February 27 and March 3.

All with same desciption---“ATM withdrawal, location Dagenham”, odd amounts. None of us live or visited England, lived in same part of US but all had Walmart money cards. Coincidence, we think not!!

They left many of us with almost zero balances and without funds now. We all have contacted the card’s customer service without resolution.

I, for example, was told this morning that I could not dispute the charges until after March 13th (occurred on March 1 & 2) and that it would take an additional 60-90 days to investigate.

This is serious fraud and breach of security for both Walmart and Green Dot on many levels. I asked to speak to a manager, she took my information and I have not heard from anyone.

Similar scenario to those online growing in number.  Publicity will not be good for Walmart, similar to the Target breach recently.

Please advise on how you are resolving this issue.
