On 11/23/13 I attempted to purchase an United Airlines ticket online for $602.10.  The transaction was not completed because of a timeout error from Verified by Visa.  Uniteds website came back with an error stating that the transaction could not be completed and was DENIED because they weren't able to verifiy my card and to try the transaction again.

I retried the transaction again and it was successful.  However when I checked with Walmart Money Card they had charged me for both the declined transaction the successful one.  I called WMC Cust Service and they told they would not reverse the failed transaction and I would have to wait 10 days for their mistake to be reversed. 

I called United and they show the failed transaction and the fact that they declined it.  United has called WMC and they refuse to honor United's statement of on;ly 1 charge being valid.

So WMC is holding my $600 hostage until December 4th and refuse to reverse the transaction.  After a review of the Terms and Agreement from GE Capital Retail Bank and Walmart Money Card, there is NO language that allows them to hold the money for 10 days.  They say they may hold the money until the transaction is completed.  Nothing states a timeframe when that has to be done by.

 So where is the ripoff? You had a error and they told you the time frame in order to get this issue resolved. Its not a ripoff its not a scam. They have to ensure that you are not attempting to scam them by causing a error issue. This is the normal course of business. They do this to ensure BOTH parties are taken care of. You were not ripped off. You are using a service and because of this you will have to wait until the time allowed. Posting a negative review because they are doing their due diligance only puts YOU in a bad light not them. Stop your crying until they KEEP your money, then you have a VALID complaint. This website is NOT for you to complain because these issues take time. This website IS for ppl who have been scammed/rippedoff. And neither has happend to you.

Grow the hell up and accept the fact that its going to take time for them to resolve it. Or would you rather just stomp your feet and hold your breath. Much like the child you are acting like.

You really cant fix THIS level of stupidity
