I was informed that the amount was fine and then given routing and acct info to put on return
On October 31 the Irs deposited to that acct so I called walmart moneycard to verify and was asked if i was calling in regards to my federal refund if so press #1 ,so I did and was told it was rejected
I was couting on that money as many family's do, so i choose option to get a live agent on the phone
After being on hold I was informed that they where no longer accepting irs refunds
so I informed her that i had called on the 17th and was told it was ok and given the information to do so
At that point she said there was nothing they could I also informed that there was nothing saying that they could change there policy at anytime she then told me that they could they did and t
That they did a week ago.I called several times finally getting to corporate and was given the run around mean while the irs has still not recieved the money back in there acct as I valled yesterday 11/05
I can not be the only person that filed and this happend i was informed yesterday that they would except refunds closer to tax time
It will take three weeks after irs has recieved money back which if they rejected it they should have recieved it back with in 48 hrs and then however long before the cut check.
I think I should sue and i am not one to think that, It is not right for these large corporations to hold our money for interest and be able to decide whether or not to deposit or reject when the clearly advertise that fedaral tax refunds or okay for direct deposit
There are many families out there that absolutely count on the money whether the file late or early

Cant say but I am sure that I am not the only one
And nobody said there living life but several thousands add up and just saying return was alot more
I can not be the only person that filed and this happend
- You may not be the only one in the entire United States, but I would bet that the number of people this happened to could be counted on one hand. Because people who are "counting" on the money, and rely on pre-paid debit cards do not file their taxes 6 months late...they file it as soon as they can in January.
I think I should sue and i am not one to think that, It is not right for these large corporations to hold our money for interest.
- A 2-for-1, not only do you want to sue them but you think they are doing this just to make money off of the Interest. So while the way you wrote this report I doubt you ever went past 6th grade let's do some elementary school math.
You didn't say how much you are getting back, but let's say you have a $2,500 refund. With the current Interest rates let's say they are able to get 5% on your money(and that is being very generous). In one month that equates to just about $10 in Interest. If you want to equate that to each day, that is about $0.35. Yea they are really living it up.
