The cashier told us that she just came out of a meeting and they told everyone that the add must have the same brand name as Walmart in order to match’s, for example, Walmart strawberry say “Florida” the ad I had with me had no brand name, and also the pineapple, ‘Chicken Brest’, buy one and the second one free, no name brand on the ad.  You do realize that walmart offers the price match as a COURTESY. As such and that it is THEIR program, they have rules they MUST follow. You seek to blame the manager but its those fatcats upstairs that make the rules. I have used walmarts price match many times. Mainly on NAME BRAND products. PEPSI, LAYS, ect. But when it is from a DISCOUNT store like say BIG LOTS, or the item is a GENERIC version, they will not honor it. You can complain and cry all you like, but walmart HAS THE RIGHT to modify their own internal promotions at anytime. So go ahead and keep posting showing everyone how cheap and dumb you really are. You sought to SCAM them using their own internal policys and they did not let you.

Walmart will price match on NORMAL NAME BRAND PRODUCTS. But they wont take it up the rump by attempting to match either a discount store or GENERIC products. To expect them to is HIGHLY unrealistic. Just because the policy SEEMS to fit doesnt mean it does. What gets me is that a member of managment came out and explained all this to you, but youre so BUTTHURT that walmart did not give you your way you feel its perfectly all right to post a negative review because walmart wouldnt let you screw them over.
