walmart walmart vision center in houma, la martin luther king blvd. Fired me when i was 7 months pregnant I had worked there for 2 years and i was accused of eating on the job. It was another employee who brought the food and put it in the file room at the time the ma houma , Louisiana

I was 7 months pregnant and have been working in the vision center for 2 years. I was terminated for being accused of misconduct. Well apparently i was eating on the job. Another employee purchased the food and brought it to the file room while i was with a patient. The manager came in there and saw the food in the file room and ask that we be written up. Well the mangers eats in there all the time and we also get treated by the doctor every weekend they work so we all eat in there for partys etc.

I was fired 2 weeks later after inventory when i help get the whole department together. I also had worked at 2 locations a couple days before that and didnt get a lunch break remember i was 7 months pregnant. After they fired me i was paid for that. I ask that they check the cameras to see if i brought food or was eating they told me okay but never did so how is that misconduct on me. I had the highest sales every month and pulled extra shifts. Before this the manager pulled me aside one day and sad one of the floor manager name darlene said that they pass by and just see me sit down all day and im not being fired but i have to transfer out of the department.

I went spoke with that manger and the store manger they all said they never spoke with my manger and that not walmart procedure so she couldnt get me out of there. I was constantly picked on by my manger and nothing was done by the book because i lost my job i had to move while i was 7 months pregnant and i had to other kids because i no longer was able to pay ma bills i lost my vechile and i applied for unemployment walmart file for an appeal they later withdrew the appeal i really lost alot due to this and it effected my family it was really unfair!!!
