Walter James Wood DEAD BEAT DAD worthless Last Known Fountain Inn South Carolina

I have a 16 year old daughter. Walter James Wood is the biological father. After 12 years of trying to nail him down, I finally found him through the help of his family and an ad I put in a South Carolina paper after his mother died (they list where relative are from).

Child support was established and for about 2 years, my daughter received $72.09 every week. Walter decides to come up to Ohio to see his daughter - (this is the third time, each time he has broken her heart, but I am only going to talk about this last time).

It was Christmas of 2003. He shows up in Ohio, "meets" his daughter, barely speaks to her, but is more interested in talking to me. Anyways, she asks him to meet her friends the next day. He says sure. Next day, my daughter has about 6 of her closest friends over. She is nervous. Calls her dad at the hotel he is staying at. Says her friends are over and asks if he is coming over. Sure, let me shower he says. Well, after 4 hours of waiting, he never shows. We never hear from him again.

She is completely devastated. Has given him her heart two prior times only to have it stomped. To add to the heartbreak, two weeks later, we stop receiving child support. I call his work to find out he up and quit, no notice. Sometime later, child support tracked him down again, we received about 4 checks, then nothing.

My daugher takes this personally. I work, but am a single mom taking care of two children (teenagers), two dogs, a house payment, car payment, insurance, etc. etc. etc. That extra money was going towards a car for her so she can work, college, etc. I have been working with child support for a year now with NO results. I get the same old song and dance everytime I call them. The first time, I am the one who tracked him down. I gave them everything. Now, it should just be a matter of tracking him through social security or his license. Well, since we have no forwarding address, everything they send is coming back to them. I need your help.

Anyone out there with information leading to Walter James Wood will forever have me in their debt and gratitude. He works on semi trucks as a mechanic. He used to work at Sterling Greenville Truck. His father has property in South Carolina. The rest of the family was nice and seemed to want to know my daughter, but we all lost touch. I am just so tired of chasing him. He is approx. 36 years old. May go by Walt. Again, his name is Walter James Wood, dob is July 10th (??). He drove a real beat up white four door car. He should not be able to get away with this. My daughter has wrote him a very long and complicated letter which I feel he should be MADE to read. I cannot stand to see her in pain anymore.
