After a single response to send details, company failed to respond to PayPal and myself.

I offered screen shots of the issues. No response since 7 SEP 2013.

And, if you go to their homepage, you will see several notorious malware and similar

such as all the Driver scam software.

***********************************************************

Deficient software. Money-back guarantee stated on website not honored. The software failed to accurately find true duplicate photos; was extremely slow to process; and did not return % match numbers in the column designated. Of 14,000+ photos searched and over 4,000 alleged as duplicates, in fact, only a small fraction of that were. Even the few identified as 95% match, were radically different. Your Significantly Not as Described dispute for the payment you sent to WebMinds Inc. on Aug 31, 2013 (Transaction 7PX25473Y7599753L) is now open. We notified WebMinds Inc. of your request for a $39.95 USD refund. If WebMinds Inc. agrees to this refund, the dispute will be closed once the refund is processed. By opening a dispute, you are communicating with the seller, not PayPal, about this problem transaction. We will email you when your seller posts a response in the Resolution Center. To learn more about PayPal's dispute resolution process, log in to your account and click the 'Tutorials' link on the Resolution Center tab. ----------------------------------- Deadline: Sep 24, 2013 ----------------------------------- On Sep 24, 2013, this dispute will automatically close unless you escalate it to a PayPal claim. By escalating to a claim, you would be asking PayPal to review the case and decide the outcome. We will remind you by email when the deadline is approaching. A closed dispute cannot be reopened or escalated to a PayPal claim. Thank you, PayPal Hello Bruce Ades,  We completed our investigation for the following claim:  Transaction Details ------------------------------ Seller's Name: WebMinds Inc. Seller's Email: support@webminds.com Seller's Transaction ID: 3BB162325K5471939 Transaction Date: Aug 31, 2013 Transaction Amount: -$39.95 USD Your Transaction ID: 7PX25473Y7599753L Case Number: PP-002-576-448-246 Buyer's Transaction ID: 7PX25473Y7599753L ------------------------------  PayPal Purchase Protection does not cover virtual or intangible items, which means that this payment is not eligible for the dispute resolution process.  PayPal Purchase Protection only applies to tangible, physical goods that can be shipped. We are unable to grant you a refund because your payment was for one of the following items: * Intangible items, including Digital Goods * Services * Real estate, including residential property * Businesses * Vehicles, including motor vehicles, motorcycles, caravans, aircraft and boats * Deposits made for vehicles or other items * Custom made items * Travel tickets, including airline flight tickets * Items prohibited by the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy * Items which you collect in person, or arrange to be collected on your behalf * Items that violate eBay’s Prohibited or Restricted Items Policy * Industrial machinery used in manufacturing * Items equivalent to cash, including prepaid or gift cards * PayPal Direct Payments * Virtual Terminal Payments * Personal Payments * Splitting a payment into multiple payments to pay for one item You may also try to recover your funds outside of PayPal using other methods. For example, you may want to consider filing a report with your local police department or filing a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). IC3 is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Justice Assistance and the National White Collar Crime Center. They review and evaluate complaints and refer the information to the appropriate local, state, or federal agency.  Please note that we do keep track of buyer complaints, and have noted your dissatisfaction in this seller’s account records. Sellers who consistently receive buyer complaints are investigated.     You can find additional information and tips about buying and selling safely on our Business Resource Center at https://www.paypal-businesscenter.com/manage-your-business.  Thank you for your cooperation with our investigation.  Sincerely, Yanie J Protection Services

Thanks for following through on this but after further investigation I have some issues. I read your comments and find them unfair. You never even gave us a chance to resolve your problem and made a claim we never responded to you when clearly we never received a response from you. I would appreciate you trying to either (1) remove the complaint or (2) providing more detail to your complaint as it really would have been resolved had you used the ticket system. In addition, your comments about malware and driver "scam" software are inaccurate and hurtful. You have no idea what it takes to develop software and then enhance it on an ongoing basis and in no way do we distribute malware or are we running any sort of scam-why would we associate ourselves with something of that nature?
