It is pitiful that there hasn't been more complaints against this company, and more so, a class action lawsuit, and in turn, this company keeps scamming people out of their hard earned money.

We did not purchase a time share, for we had gone thru those terrible experinces many times in previous years, but we were led to believe that we would be buying unlimited up to a week rentals to last for 18 months, and each "vacation" would only cost $199.00 each time (or so said the worksheets that the sales people wrote on, thru Leisure Time Vacations, PLUS we were to reveive three FREE weeks thru Dream Vacation Week, but of course there wasn't any price in the contract that we signed, other than the $2,995.00 that we used a credit card to pay for said vacations.

This took place in July 31, 2015, and we didn't look into any vacations until 2016, due to other obligations, but when we started looking into the vacations, we got the run-around. People at Leisure Time and Interval Intl had heard of the $199.00 vacations, but they said we would have to talk to the resort, and when we talked to the resort, even tho they also had heard of the $199.00 vacations, they said we had to talk to the other places, but of course, if we wanted to book and pay MORE than $199.00, we certainly could do that.

In looking at their prices, it would cost us way more than $199.00 - anywhere from $300.00 to a few THOUSAND for a one week vacation (IF there were any weks available in the place we wanted to go to, and at the time we wanted to go, which many times there wasn't any condo available).

So, we have filed a complaint with the BBB, and doubt anything will come of this, since apparently the place doesn't care how much bad piblicity it gets - they just want the money.

WHY would ANYONE pay $3,000.00 to a company to provide vacation weeks that the customer would still have to pay hundreds and closer to thousands of dollars additional money, when the customer can just search on the internet and find those SAME deals, and many times, would be able to pay even LESS than what the place (Welk Resort and the places they deal with), charges????   THEY WOULDN'T.

There is air bnb, vacation rentals, and many other sites to rent condos, and one doesn't have to spend $3 GRAND to begin with, PLUS hundreds or thousands more, to use them, like we had to pay in going thru Welk Resort.

We have asked for our money back, but like I said, I doubt we even hear from the company.

Be very careful when you go to timeshare sales - they will get you any way they can, and make sure what was said is WRITTEN in the CONTRACT - WORD for WORD and PRICE for PRICE.    What a rip-off this company is.
