My husband and I are writing this letter to keep our home. We are pass due on our paymnets due to a fraud modification, which was advertised on TV stating "Obama's Plan," which led us to go with them because we needed help desperately. They took 3000 dollars from us, only to have our mortgage lowered 100 dollars. 
    This is our first home and we have lived here for 13 years. After they ripped us off, we were behind in the rears. Our last choice was to contact our mortgage, which is American Servicing Company (Wells Fargo). They have done nothing for us except wrote a letter stating that our house was undergoing foreclosure. We have done all that they have asked, which included writing several hardship letters. 
    My husband and I worked hard all our lives and paid our taxes each years. My husband is on Social Security Disability because he is an ill man with many health issues that makes him inaccesible to many jobs. Four years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and I worked through my chemo and radiation therapy to ensure I would keep up on my bills and mortgage payments; but had to miss some work because the treatments made me ill. Now if there is someone out there to help us, I pray that there is a lord to help us through these tough times. We have depleted all our resources.
