i purchased a home with wes smith in 2009.when i bought this home i recieved a free trip valued at 1200 dollars.this voucher had no expiry as i was told by wes i could use it whenever i wanted to.in april 2012 i went to redeem it to go to my cousins wedding in hawaii.i planned the trip with the flight center and recieved a call 2 weeks later from them.they informed me that wes had no money in the account that held the funds for the trips he promised.they had tried contacting him numerous times but he was dodging their calls.i was currently selling a property with wes so i said i would call him as he would surely awnser a customers calls.i called 9 times over a 7 day period to his office and cell and got no awnser.i eventually wrote an email saying i would lodge complaints against him and all of a sudden he was very easy to get ahold of.he promised me he would give me cash the following tuesday.well tuesday came and went and i recieved no cash or even a courtesy call to let me know what was going on.again i placed many calls to contact him and finally got through.he said he wasnt sure when he could pay me but eventually he would.i requested a firm date so i could plan my trip and he got a little upset.he said well if your gonna hold me to a date then july 16 mabye.i told him 6 weeks was too long as ive already waited 6 weeks and this should have been taken care of back then.he then informed me you cant get blood from a stone.we are a single income family and this is our first vacation in 8 years.my 7 year old daughter is going to be a flower girl and is quite excited.i dont think we will make it because by the time we get the money from wes,if we do it could be too late.
