western union I received an E-mail from my friend Mr. Ken (Kamlesh ) Asher on 09/03/2012. Him and his family in trouble in London and needs money ASAP. I sent money $1550.00+$108.00 transfer fee. Englewood, Colorado

recently a few of my friends have had people recieve emails that they themselves were in trouble or arrested.  Luckily family member called them before sending money, (in one case my friend's dad called him before his mother handed over 5,000 dollars to a western union)  Alot of people didn't check and just sent money to help. 25 dollars here 100 there, apparently western union doesn't guarentee some transfers out of the US.  Always follow up in person with anyone and check facts.  I have a Priest friend that had a whole church body send a total of 15k dollars to a UK office that got picked up and never refunded.  While he was on a full day retreat in his home town in the US.  Call your friend, if they list that they are in trouble and have lost their passports or are arrested, make a call to the Embassy and then send the money to the embassy for them.
