Whatever you do, do not get a car loan through this company. I repeat, do NOT get a car loan through this company. These people are unfair, unreasonable, liars, loansharks, and untrustworthy. They aren't willing to work with anyone who has fallen upon hard times. So what if you lost your job. They prey on people with poor credit ratings and are purely greed driven. How a company like this is able to operate is beyond me.

Their interest rates are through the roof. I understand that people with a lower credit rating are high risk, however, that does not make them bad people. You will be treated like a second class citizen should you fall on hard times and become even one month behind on your loan.

Save yourself the headache and find another lender. Westlake Financial does not deserve a single penny of hard working Americans' dollars. DO NOT get a loan through this company.

They are not a charity...

AUTHOR: Robert - ()

POSTED: Friday, July 25, 2014

This may come as a shock to you, but no where do they say they are a Charity.  You will not find a single line in the loan documents that said you only had to pay when you could.   So what did they loan documents say?  They said you agree to making a specific payment on a specific date for a specific amount of time.  These documents also stated what would happen if you failed to fulfill the legal obligation you made.  So before you start throwing out terms like "liars"..perhaps you should look at your own actions and how you are the one who actually is lying.

Their interest rates are through the roof.

- You agreed to them.

I understand that people with a lower credit rating are high risk,

- As shown by you becoming a month late.

Save yourself the headache and find another lender

- Reality check time...you are with Westlake financial because no other "mainstream" lender wanted to take a chance on you.  Now, of course there are other "subprime" lenders but do you really think they would treat you any different?  In fact I can tell you if you look at some lenders, they put a GPS device on your car as well as a starter kill switch.  Where if you are even a day late they disable your car until you pay.  If you fail to make your payment within a few days they reposess your car.  Forget a month...they may give you a week.
