When we originally refinanced with this company, we payed with military allotments. They lost each allotment and forced us to provide proof over and over that we had sent the payments. I was on the phone with them long distance for hours trying to resolve the issues.

While this was going on, they called nearly every day, even early in the morning, and were very rude and harassing. They repeatedly asked to speak with my husband, even though my POA was on file and a note explaining his deployment.

After five months of this, a lady at the military finance office called and talked to them for three hours straight and it was finally resolved. Now we pay with credit card on their site. They recently posted an extra payment we did not make. Then they removed it and also removed the payment we had made. Now they are charging us late charges and requiring proof that we ever payed it.
This company has terrible record keeping and offensively rude customer service.

This is a wonderful company

WFS financed me for a new car when no one else would. Yes, there was a time when I was young and financially irresponsible and did not deserve good financing alternatives. They gave me a chance.

During the financing there were times when I missed a payment. They called me, were always compassionate and always worked with me - deferring payments until the end of the loan. When I had trouble insuring the car during one period they provided insurance until I obtained some.

Yes, they have high rates - but they service the buyer who has no alternative. I would rather pay higher rates and get a new car than go to some buy here pay here lemon lot and get ripped off.

I think the original posters problem is they did not communicate with this company. They are always responsive to problems and willing to help.

ITS YOUR MILITARY OFFICE WITH THE PROBLEM

When you sign up for military allotment, it's like using epay from your bank. We have no record of your transaction other than the monies posting to your account with us. If you miss the number for your acct even by one digit, it screws the whole thing up. So if I had a problem with my epay, I would take it up with my bank, not with whom I am paying.
