In 20011,  I purchase a mini Van ... I DIDNT WANT TO WHAT SO EVER in purchse a extended insurance warrenty. But the dealer told me that since I am purchase an old used car, it is best if I got the insurance to cover anything that might happen to the van. So I got into it with him... 

1 AND MOST IMPORTANT CONCERN WAS... do it cover transmisstion??? how much will it cost me to pay without the insurance?

answer; YES it will cover whateverrrrrrrrrrr happen to your transmission, wear and tear, break down for whatever reason... if you fix it without the insurance it can be anywhere from $2000/$3800.. just for the transmission... WITH THE WARRANT YOU ONLY PAY $1700 AND IT COVER FOR THE TRANSMISSION AND AIR CONDITION, BRAKES, COOLING, FUEL DELIVERY AND SO ON...

Okay are you sure??? I DONT CARE ABOUT ALL THE OTHER ... I JUST WANT TO BE PROTECTED FROM TRANSMISSION FAILING ON ME, I HAVE KIDS AND WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT WE ARE SAFE ...AND HE SAID IT WILL COVER FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPEN TO THE TRANSMISSION.....  " key word, anything that happen" so I said " let do it, now you are sure right? he said yes, gave me the contract read it and I sign it...

2013, three weeks ago, thank god I drop off the kids and headed to work, while driving on the FREEWAY that car broke down... it would NOT go... thank GOD no one got kill or hurt... call the tow truck, when into the shop for repair... check my warrent and I was clear cover...! 2 weeks later... with NOOOOOO car, the shop told me that the inspect came out and the insurance denial me for WEAR AND TEAR!!!!!!!!!!! I almost feel off my seat!

CDI here I come, if i am putting out $1700 for a policy that clearly state it cover for transmission and it didnt, therefore I had to put out over $2000 for the transmission + over $200 for car rental for a week in addition to 2 week with NO car to work.... had to get people to take the kids to school for 2 weeks! simply math... I just spend over $5000.00 for the insurance company..

I want all the consumer know the scam and fraud behind it all...... !

page 2,  section e. Wear and tear (powertrain plus and premium coverage ONLY) provides coverage for coverd for covered parts in the events a mechanical BREAKDOWN has not occurred... but a covered part is not operating within manufacturers specification and damage to the coverd part has resulted from the gradual reduction in operating performance. WEAR AND TEAR COV ERAGE IS AVAILABLE ONLY WHEN THE VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 125,000 MILE AT THE VEHICLE PURCHASE DATE... i dont know about you but again this statement didnt say check the surcharge box either...

TAKE A LOOK AT C. SECTION B. ON THE 1ST PAGE IN THE BACK.....  NO WHERE DID IT SAY YOU HAVE TO CHECK THE SURCHARGE BOX, OR IT DONT COVER FOR WEAR AND TEAR TRANSMISSION AND IT HAD DOWN (TRANSMISSION) MEANING THE TRANSMISSION !

Have a bless day and please please stay away as far from them ... take your 1700 put it in a saving and for any reason if this happen you wont be spending 5000.. just other 300 more and the car take only 3 days to repair instead of WEEKSSSSSSSS! waiting on the insurance company process!
