Was told that I will get 3mbps with unlimited phone for 29.99/Month. after install, im getting .4mbps and was told my bill will be 54.00/month Was told that I will get 3mbps with unlimited phone for 29.99/Month. After install, im getting 1mbps. I called and spoke with tech support who said that it was available to me and that they would fix it. After waiting several days with no change in service, I called them back and was told I signed up for there internet for 1mbps "which I did not, I have a picture on my cell of the screenshot saying I was getting 3mbps with unlimited phone for 30.00".

Today my internet has been very slow, i checked download speed it is .3mbps. I called them back explained to them that now im not even getting 1mbps. Bobby and another tech named Tamara who I spoke with stated that what I signed up for was there internet light speed or DB speed which she stated was basically there dial up speed. [continued below]....

..... Then she stated that my bill would be 54 dollars a month. I am the new owner of this home that i currently live in.

The people that I bought the home from had 3 mpbs internet through windstream. When I spoke with a Manager at windstream she told me that because I was a new customer, I did not get the 3 mbps because it created too much of a draw on the system. . I told the manager that I should have had the original home owners leave the internet in there name and I pay the bill so I would get the service I pay for and windstream would not know the difference.

 Today 07/24/2013 when I called to speak with Windstream I was told that my area is flagged and 3mbps is not available to me. This internet light speed is costing me more than there supposed high speed internet that I was initially told I was receiving. Windstream is the only Internet provider in my area and I feel that they are not working to fix the issue or be honest with me. When speaking with the billing department they tell me that 1mbps is not in the promotional pricing code and that my internet price is 54 and would be 75 dollars a month after taxes. This is a bait and switch operation. I should not be paying more money than the 3mbps pricing.
