Someone once told me, "Ain't nothing in life for free." So WHY when I got this "free" online shopping spree from this company did I not just immediately place it in File 13? Ive asked myself that several times since I paid "shipping and processing" fees for this "free" merchandise that I have still not received.
My second clue that I was being outlandishly stupid was the fact that there was no contact phone # on the website.
I consider myself a pretty smart person, and normally this wouldn't have even interested me because I don't have money to pay for "free" merchandise. I must have been in DUMBO mode that day.
This company shorted me some "free" merchandise in the shipment that I paid for, now they won't respond to my e-mails through their website or the faxes I have sent. I went online to www.newyork.bbb.org and found out that a majority of their complaints have had to do with shipping and delivery issues.
Hmmm... I wonder if they short everyone that pays for "free" merchandise.
Mr. Victor Shiff, the owner of the company probably said "What the hey, the idiot fell for the 'pay for free stuff" scam, let's see if she misses this one item in the package, she probably can't count either".
So, Ive been had. Needless to say, I am smart enough to know that I willingly bent over for it.
I have filed a formal complaint with the New Your BBB, and in addition to the ripoff report, I have disputed the charge with my credit card company.
Please do not give your money to the following companies. They have different names and websites, but they are all the same company.
