Worstell Auction Co. Lied, misrepresented items Houston Texas

 I am a high school teacher.  I purchased 76 laptops at the Pasadena police auction to help class sell them and make money for projects.  The cost was $1440.

The boxes were shrink wrapped with only top box open to show laptops.  Mr. Worstell said, jokingly, that "you can keep the porn on them" which implies a hard drive storage is there as you could not have anything.  They did not have hard drives and he did not say that they did or didn't--incompetent for implying and not stating if known as he told me he knew, later.

But, this is not my main complaint.  He clearly stated that power supplies came with the units.  It was confirmed from 4 otheres who were there.   They were not.

I emailed my issue with no response from Sat-Tues.  I called and was told he was 'out of town' so told them of my issue and desire to have compenstion for cheapest replacement power supplies that I could find on Ebay.  He did not call so on Friday I called.

He was very rude, hung up once, and then claimed to 'have the sale recorded--but I can't hear it'.  What a loser.

He further told me that he 'would spread it around to all other auctioneers that I am a crook'.  I was great friends with two of the most well known autioneers in Houston, Jim Bowers and CJ Stommel so, not real concerned with such a clowny threat.

I intended to sue in small claims but as it would be a messy, difficult logistical issue for me, I didn't.  My kids at school will still make $ for the future.

This little man will have to live with his dishonesty and inability to be a man....very low, very dishonest and, I am sure, will not last for the long term in this business--trailer trash.
