Cougar911.com is a website for, well, "cougars"...that is to say, women of a certain age, say 40 and up. The website is geared to match men with these women. A noble cause, I would say. Unfortunately, the creators of the website have found it necessary to create false profiles of women.
The trick this site has is that they send messages from these fake profiles to men. Previously, you had to pay for membership just to respond. Now, in order to even read messages, you have to upgrade to a paid membership.
And, how do I know these messages are fake? Well, for one thing, I have the most bare-boned of profiles. No picture even...yet I get messages from very attractive women asking me out for drinks and / or sex. Not only that, but I am getting identical messages on two profiles I created. I created the second profile after becoming understandably suspicious of the number of messages I was getting on the original profile I made.
The fact that identical messages are going out to both my accounts, and now, with having to pay just to read messages, should be enough to get this company for credit card fraud.
