I had invested a certain amount of funds to www.courtneyrharris.com to start up the advertising portion of this companies website. The contract stated, along with emails, that I would be granted 40% of this portion of the company for the term of the contract. After the contract was up, if I wanted to cash out I would receive my percentage of the business.

you are not pleased with the direction things are going you can cash out
your percentage. By then you would have surely made your investment back
several times but If for whatever reason you have not made your investment back
(which is highly unlikely) you would cash out by taking the
whatever the difference is between what you have received and what you are
still owed."
About a month before the year contract was up, I wrote an email stating that I would be cashing out. Courtney then tried to sell me on a portion of his core business which he claimed was doing well. I turned the offer down. A day prior to the contract end date I had sent an email to discuss the collection of my funds only to an effort in return to sell me on the core business again. I declined and continued to write emails about my funds. Finally after a few emails I was told there was no money from the investment left and that we needed to work out a payment schedule in order to pay the funds back. I was disappointed at first, but then agreed to set a payment schedule. I have not heard back since July 16 2012 after I have sent numerous emails. Please do not do business with this company as this is how investors are treated, I'm sure customers are treated the like.

Misunderstanding resolved - again

Please be warned of doing business with Garrett L****. Notice, there is only one complaint about our company and it came from him - twice. He is a very emotional person who will quickly turn to harrassing a company in question if he is unsure of something. Instead of clarifying an issue and trying to resolve it, his immediate response is to do something malicious and act out of reckless immaturity.
Once again, the issue in question was a misunderstanding that was easily cleared up and resolved. Unfortunately, once a claim is made on this website it cannot be undone - even an apology made by the original claimant. (As was done in the previous claim). Again, please be warned of doing business with Garrett L**** because this is the unprofessional manner he continues to demonstrate in business transactions.
Once again, the issue in question was a misunderstanding that was easily cleared up and resolved. Unfortunately, once a claim is made on this website it cannot be undone - even an apology made by the original claimant. (As was done in the previous claim). Again, please be warned of doing business with Garrett L**** because this is the unprofessional manner he continues to demonstrate in business transactions.

Whether this is a legitimate business or not is yet to be known. As I did my own investigation into the references of work from the website, one company that is listed with a feedback comment as well, has never even heard of this site or done business with the site. The feedback comment was taken from another site and reworded to fit the site in question. Please, watch yourself when dealing with this so called company.

The person in question filed this report out of frustration and misunderstanding. The contract is being honored and their funds are being returned in monthly installments they agreed to.
The person was provided updates every step along the way and was never mislead about how their investment was being spent. They were aware of all efforts being made to make the venture successful in order to generate a return for all parties. By the time the year had passed, they decided to "cash out" and have their money returned. By the time the year had passed, the venture had not made a return.
There is email communication to verify each of these claims and the person has been asked to remove this report due to defamation and suggesting that they were mislead in any way and even implying that they were somehow scammed. I have done business with a plethora of companies since 2006 and have plenty of references that remain in very good standing as a result of work that was performed.
At the time of this message, the person in question has been informed to remove this complaint or legal recourse will follow.
