The "service" company about which I am complaining here, "www.JustAnswer.com" is a scam and you must avoid it by whatever means. The www.JustAnswer.com website interface deliberately misleads newcomers into believing that the questions and answers they receive from "experts" associated with the company will remain confidential between you, the customer, and the "expert" answering your question (for a fee). In truth, though, www.JustAnswer.com, is "content mining" from its customers and will publish to the internet whatever you put into its system. I fell into these scammers' trap, and then had horrific personal problems because of the material from me that they duped me into giving them being published on their site. It's obvious from the way that the company, www.JustAnswer.com responded to my complaints that they are knowingly continuing to perpetrate their deception on others, and have no intention of stopping the deliberate deception. The responses to my consumer complaints from www.JustAnswer.com are extremely well-rehearsed, as though read from scripts. That tells us that the company is extremely well-aware of consumer outrage over the company's abuses of consumers, but has no intention of changing its deceptive marketing strategies. In my matter, the company's alibi is that in the fine print of one of the many links given at the very bottom of their home page, there is an explanation that the company intends to publish the seemingly private exchanges you have with their "expert." Were this an honest company, there would be a clear statement at the top of every page on the site that when consumers pay to have their questions answered by "experts," all of the material that consumers put in is subject to online publication. I have informed the company that I intend to contact all of my federal and state elected officials, describing how www.JustAnswer.com is deliberately deceiving consumers. I shall be asking my elected officials to consider better laws to protect consumers against this sort of deception. I have demanded that www.JustAnswer.com entirely delete my account with them, so I can rest easy that they will not again cause me unimaginable problems and emotional distress by publishing my material. The company knows what it is doing, it has deliberately developed strategies to get consumers to provide it with site content without first making the consumers aware that their questions are going to be published. This deceptive marketing practice is all the more obnoxious that the company makes *you* pay to fill its website with content. The company absolutely did attempt to blow smoke in my eyes when I asked whether it was going to start putting signage on its site that would prevent other people from being victimized the way that www.JustAnswer.com victimized me. Additionally, I note from a perusal of other complaints against these low-lifes, that there is no end to other problems that www.JustAnswer.com inflicts on consumers.

Just Answer Continues its Deliberate Deceptions

AUTHOR: Scott rose - ()

POSTED: Saturday, July 12, 2014

When I posted my original complaint against Just Answer, I sent the company an e-mail asking if it intended to change its website so that other potential Just Answer users would avoid falling into a trap as I had.

The company to date, however, has done nothing whatsoever to make its site safer for consumers to use.

What Just Answer does is this:

It lures customers in by making it appear that the questions they pay to have answered are being answered in confidentiality between you, the customer and a Just Answer "expert."

In truth what Just Answer is doing, though, is luring unsuspecting victims in to creating content for other web pages run by Just Answer. One of the outrageous aspects of this scam is that Just Answer makes you pay for the material it then turns around and publishes.

They make you pay for an "expert" to answer your questions, but they do not tell you in advance that they are going to publish the information you give them.

I am stressing that Just Answer deliberately deceives consumers by making it appear that the consumer is communicating confidentially with a Just Answer "expert," but then turns around and publishes the material you transmitted to the company.

The Just Answer website goes out of its way to deceive customers by making it appear that their exchanges with Just Answer experts are confidential.

The home page of the site doesn't contain one word about how Just Answer is going to publish whatever material you supply to their "expert."

What Just Answer is doing is a form of fraud.
