So if you are thinking of buying a helicopter from them I urge you to do so as they have great prices and even better shipping times as well as customer service.. I have better things to do with my time as well than to be writing this rebuttal yet i feel the complaint was totally uncalled for.. thank you think rc !!! you are a class aaaa store

The actual fedex ground shipping rate to Canada is $21.79. If can be verified independently by going to fedex.com. http://www.fedex.com/ratefinder/home?cc=US&language=en&locId=express
As a courtesy to our customers, we also handle customs clearance and GST tax so the customer does not get suprised by extra fees when their package arrives. We are not obligated to do this but we do it as a service to our customers and quote this cost up front. The cost from Fedex trade networks in Canada to handle the customs clearance for you is $20.23 and the GST tax is 5% of $169.95 which is $8.50. So the total shipping with GST tax was $51.52.
It is unfortunate that shipping to Canada costs this much but this is how much our carrier charges and we do not make any money off the shipping, customs clearance, or GST.
From reviewing the chat transcript, you asked us to ship this as a gift under $60 for an item that costs $169.95. You requested that we do something that is against the law in the US and Canada so you can pay less in customs fees and taxes. When we refused to do something illegal on your behalf you went a posted this on this site.
We have been in business for 6 years and have a large warehouse in Southern California. Our shipping is how much it costs us to ship and has nothing to do with offering lower prices and raising the shipping prices.
Asking us to do something illegal and trying to damage our credibility online anonymously when we refused, speaks for itself. If you have any other issues please free to contact me and thank you for your time.
