xfinity/comcast comcast XFINITY is new name for same lame company Morrow, Georgia

Comcast is now advertising hogher customer service with a no strings attached 30 day trial of their service. My experince conflicts with that. I tried their service intending to keep it but was limited by their own cable burying crew. The box installer showed up, and ran a temporary cable across my front lawn saying that a burial crew was going to show up. They did 2 weeks later, no problem. They buried the cable around the back of my house thereby avoiding going under my driveway. Here is the problem. The same burial crew shoed up 1 week later to bury my neighbors cable and in the process, they cut my cable near the road box. After calling for service an having noone show up, I reluctantly cancelled the service and returned the boxes. I hated doing this because I knew the 2 install crews wouldn't get paid as a result. Here is the other problem. Comcast didn't think I shpould get three weeks of lame slow cable tv boxes for free especially with all the hassles. SO they sent me a bill for one month of service at the regular price. Afer I ignored it they sent it to a collection agency. I don't care because I don't use credit and own all my houses and cars outright, but this would do damge to a regular person who has a mortgage, and a credit history to consider. SO in essence comcast is a bait an switch company, no matter what they say, they are lying. The complaints against this company have gotten so bad, that now tey are attempting to change their name to Xfinity. Don't fall for it. Once on the phone, I informed comcast abotu the 330 reports here on ripoffreport.com, and their reply was "why would you do business with a company with 330 reports on ripoffreport.com?". So they are unapologetic, and the representative's tone was that of comedic shun.
