Because of an error with my Medicare HMO-Evercare by Secure Horizons my prescription drugs that I have been taking since 200 for my COPD has been inaccessible from my mail order prescription drug pharmacy. Until my enrolling in this Evercare program I was able to get these inhalation solutions from the mail order pharmacy at the co-pay required by Medicare-Medicaid. Now with my current supply getting dangerously low I went to the PPARX website that Montel Williams advertises and that led me to this Xubex Pharmaceutical in Florida.

On the application that I filled out and their website the copay for 90 day supply which would be 1350 vials of this solution. I took the application to my doctor and he faxed it with the prexription to this comapny. Now they say that it is for 60 vials and not the 90 day supply ordered. I called them when I became aware and their resoning being it is 69 vials and that is 90 day supply. They cannot know why it would not be and they cannot tell how much a person uses. I told them that they need to correct their website figures where it says for a 60vils not 90day supply. They did reverse the charge on my debit card and sent me three boxes or 540 vials of the medication for free.

It still does not make it right as it still says $30.00 for 90 day supply and I have been on this medication since 2000 and even in the beginning I needed more than 60 vials in 90 days as they seem to think it should be. They are not of this world in their thinking.

They haven't changed yet.

I too have COPD use 5 vials of DuoNeb per day. I enrolled in the Xubex program through my local hospital and was told $30 for a 90 day supply, and received only the 60 vials.

Since it has been more than a year since the original ripoff report was filed, it's clear that Xubex is content with the money they are making by misleading and flat out lying to customers that truely need medication. They have us "over a barrel" and are reaping the rewards of that, at the cost of the patients they say they are there to help.

I will discontinue to give them my money as soon as the paperwork is complete for another prescription assistance program.

At no time during the filling out of the application online or on the telephone with this company was I asked to send a copy of my Medicare card. The application has a place for you to put your Medicare number. but says nothing about sending a copy to them. If that were the case I would have had the doctor's office fax a copy of my Medicar3e card along with the original application and prescription. That would not be a problem. I have never tried to cheat anyone and I really don't appreciate this company implying that I am trying to do that.

I am only going by the information they have on their website for prescrition help and that is that a 90 day supply of the medication I am prescribed would be $30.00. It says that on the application and the website. I have never even in the beginning of this medication used as little as 60 vials of this medication and that would only last 12 days for me at 5 vials a day. NOT 90 DAYS AS THEY SAY THAT WOULD BE.

Rebuttle to owner of Xubex

AUTHOR: Marilynn - (U.S.A.)

In all of the communications with Xubex on the website there was no mention of anyone sending a copy of their medicare card to Xubex. In the original information collecting the website does when you inquire about their program they ask for your medicare number and that is the only mention EVER of medicare number. NOTHING about sending a copy. The only sending they required was the prescrition from the doctor. NOTHING of the medicare card copy. If I had been asked I would have sent a copy to them or as it happens I would have given the doctors office a copy of it to fax when they faxed the prescrition.

It still does not explain how someone that uses a total of 450 vials of this medication for 90 days looking at the pay table on the application where it says 90 days $30.00 would know that they would be only getting enough for 12 days. In their eyes everyone should only be using what is 60 vials. When you use 5 vials a day you can do the math even if they cannot. They do need to revise their wording and make it a real figure like real people use. I have never cheated anyone before and I am 67 years old and way too old to start now even for these big guys.

Misleading fees listing

AUTHOR: Xubex - (U.S.A.)

Our website is not intended to mislead anyone. We are in business of providing low cost medications to thousands of people across the country. In the case of Marilynn, our site clearly indicates that in order to get a 3 month supply you must have Medicare coverage. Clients are told to provide us with Medicare eligibilty (copy of Medicare card) and after we receive all documents necessary to process their order we will supply a 3 month supply as indicated on our site.

We are sorry she had a bad experience, however we will review our process to better serve our clients
