your way moving co of Topeka Deandrae aka "Mike" Lied!! Unprofessional!! STOLD!! Topeka, Kansas

Was referred to this company by u-haul in Topeka, said the company is not affiliated with u-haul but he works w/uhaul & their customers on a very regular basis. I called to get an estimate to just load a truck, called the business number and a guy named "Mike" answered.. was quoted 3 men for 55 dollars an hour, usually 65 dollars an hour... said that if I need any supplies that he I could get them from him for half off of what u Haul charges at the store. I was told he does a lot of picking up of the trucks at u-haul and drives to the work location, I asked about this he said no problem. he ask me if I was going to pay with cash or credit card, I told him I didn't know and if he preferred 1 over the other and he said it didn't matter.. He mentioned on a few occasions that they had 2,000,000 dollars of insurance so that if anything went wrong while loading & DURING TRANSIT to the new home, all would be covered... the guys picked up the truck from u-haul and drove it to Lyndon, about 25 miles from Topeka.. the owner d'Andre aka "Mike", the only guy I had ever talk to from the company on several occasions and everytime this "Mike" would call, the caller ID would say d'Andre XXX, the owner of your way moving company, guess that should have been my first clue... anyway he comes inside with his paperwork explaining the $2 million insurance coverage, explaining the guys are working for 55 dollars a n hour to load my truck... I wanted them to get started because they had taken so long trying to block traffic while parking the truck outside it was starting to annoy me, the police had to come and tell them to get out of the middle of the street so they parked halfway on the sidewalk instead... they came in and started loading the truck, I walked my dog and then kinda hung out and let them do their thing.. close to the job being done, "Mikel"/d' Andre started to do the paperwork and get my receipt, handed me a bill for 500 dollars! I told him he was on crack and asked him what I was being charged for.. he said 3 men at 65 dollars an hour, supplies, Labor, gas ( when it was my gas in my U Haul truck!!), travel, tax, 5 percent for using my credit card and for picking up the truck at u-haul... we exchanged words and he said he would take off 110 dollars for travel.. he claimed that "Mike" should have gone over all of these charges with me and I explain "Mike" never mentioned any of these additional charges... he went on and on about hoping not to get in trouble from the owner, meanwhile he is the owner... we exchanged words and I was told I would have to speak with "Mike"...
I went outside to see how everything was going, ( they were having trouble Hitching the car trailer to the truck) and D Andre was inside up stairs getting all of his paperwork in files together... they left, I left... I drove straight through for 10 hours... I go to get my computer tablet from my briefcase which was sitting on the counter in the kitchen, along with my purse ( I had my wallet the whole time so I wasn't concerned with my purse being in the kitchen without me), during the move and it is missing along with all the paperwork from the moving company. there were 3 guys there, plus myself... I don't have my computer or my receipts or my paperwork so who does? these items didn't grow feet and walk off on their own!
I called the company, d Andres phone number, and ask to speak with "Mike" and low and behold some guy gets on the phone who I have never spoken with in my whole life! I'm asking him why I'm being charged for all of these random charges and he proceeds to tell me what he initially said he told me when I never spoken to the guy before my whole life so how could he possibly know what he "told me"... I told him my tablet is missing, instead of saying he would look into it he starts telling me that the guys told him I was never away from them or out of the home, ever, so there's no possible way it could have been taken. Lie! Not to mention I get to my new home with the truck and I couldn't get out a single item because it was packed so horribly that I had to call another moving company immediately because I was afraid if I touched anything something would break... these guys had absolutely no idea how to pack anything let alone a truck! I took plenty of pictures and there's plenty of damage but they don't have the insurance that they claim so now I have to take them to court.
