 I am livid at the recent experience I have had with Yummy Hair. Let me start of by saying I have ordered the Deep Curly hair from yummy in the past and had no issues (some shedding but not a big deal compared to the following). I decided to try Yummy again as I have an important event to attend this week. The hair arrived last week and did not look like unprocessed hair to me. All of the curls hung in the exact same uniform orientation (I have never seen unprocessed hair behave this way). The hair looked and smelled like it had been permed. I tried washing the hair to see if that would help. The hair looked exactly the same. I take great measures to ensure that he hair I use is VIRGIN, UNPROCESSED hair because I do not do full sew-ins and must dye the hair to match my hair color. I am fully aware that processed hair does not react kindly to being colored.

I contacted Yummy because I was concerned that the hair I received had been processed and of a lower quality than what I have received from them previously. They dismissed my claims, with the excuse that the hair has been chemically treated to "remove nits", and reiterated that all of the hair is unprocessed. I still had serious doubts but brought the hair in to be colored. My hairstylist took one look at the hair and said here was no way this hair hadn't been processed before, and was likely also DYED jet black. I told her I was informed by Yummy that the hair was definitely unprocessed and asked her to try to color the hair regardless of her doubts. We underwent the same process I take with all of my weave hair to match the color to my hair. I had also done this with a previous bundle I had from Yummy which turned out beautifully. This time, clumps and clumps of hair came out of the bundle. I am literally left with a big pile of supposedly unprocessed, virgin hair.

I now have 24 hours to find new hair and have it installed before my flight to LA tomorrow morning. I am so disappointed in this hair and the lack of service I received when I expressed my concerns about this low quality bundle I received. Yummy Hair is way too expensive for them to be offering this low budget hair and not rectifying their vendor's mistakes! I hope this report warns as many people as possible to stay away from this company!
