Z Raffaele SCAM: Fake Armani Jackets Frisco Texas

 If you made it here most likely you were already a victim.

Italian man comes up to me at gas station, says he works for Armani and has samples that he doesn't need to take back. He has a business card, promotional materials, passport, and rental car contract. Told me that he is about to get on a plane (DFW airport) and doesn't want to carry the samples with him, and that he is trying to find someone to take them off his hands.

He shows me 4 jackets that look authentic (but I don't know what authentic really is to begin with) and offers all of them for $400, claiming retail it is around $4000. I only wanted one, but I thought I would take them and sell off the rest on ebay. I go to ATM and get cash, we agree on $350.

I get back and do a web search and come up pretty inconclusive, until I google his name and end up at this site. And yes, after I go back to take a closer look the jackets are fake in about every way imaginable.

This man will convince you he is authentic, and he is extremely personable and nice. I actually went back out to look for him, hoping he was still in the area doing another con at a gas station. No luck. I'll take the lesson learned, and at the same time, hopefully others will be able to make it here and save themselves the cash.
