Zhang Financial Do Your Own Research Portage Michigan

As an intern, former student of Charles Zhang at WMU, and current Finance degree graduate, I would like to offer my perspective on Zhang Financial. 

My parents have been with Zhang Financial for 8 years. They have been so happy with the service and performance that they have also referred my grandparents and uncles to the firm.

I’m frustrated with the previous review on Ripoff Report because it is false. I am posting this review because I want to set the record straight. Zhang Financial is a fee-only financial firm that takes a highly academic and balanced approach to investing. Because they are fee-only, they save their clients from conflicts of interest and all the hidden layers of fees that those big box firms won’t tell you about. Also, because Zhang Financial is a market participant it is highly improbable that their performance would not correlate with the market’s performance. An argument could be made for their performance underperforming a benchmark, depending on which benchmark you chose, but for the whole market to be up and their performance to be negative is mathematically impossible.

Eugene F. Fama, 2013 Nobel laureate in Economic Sciences, is the principal scholar whose groundbreaking work inspired the founding of Dimensional. Widely recognized as the "father of modern finance," Professor Fama developed the efficient market hypothesis. By utilizing Dimensional and Vanguard funds, Zhang Financial uses some of the most cost-efficient and highest quality investment vehicles available.

In today’s age, it’s easy for anyone to trash another’s reputation at no cost to themselves. If you are reading this, don’t go online searching for answers, do your own research—simply ask the community or any of Zhang Financial’s clients for the truth.
