I have $325 gift cert.numbered and signed with printed exp.date 3/22/07 that was not honored by the company.
In the beginnig of March 2007 I contacted OVRP to schedule the time I can use my certificate at the race track. I was told that the cert. is expired. I insisted that it was not...I faxed it over to OVRP, they offered me $100 discount on future use of the track as a "restitution (?!) for my expired (!!!) gift certificate". They said that the race track would open in May so my cert. is already expired ...even if it is not...!!!
When I asked how the cert.could be already expired if our conversation was on March 5th 2007 the response was a rude personal remark and the phone went silent.
Customers be aware ! this is a business that designed their gift certificates to rip you off !

Oakland Valley Race Park is under new ownership since November 2009 and is presently managed by Hannen Motorsports, Inc., represented by Tim Hannen, president. This incident, while uncontested, is well over three years old and obviously Hannen Motorsports bears no responsibility in the matter. However, we do want to "set the record straight", and we are successfully building a reputation of good service, friendly staff, and professional attitude toward our customer base, which has grown significantly in our first year of operation.
