Ruesch Motor Company is closing. We have tried to do all we can to endure the current financial crisis but find that despite a huge acceptance of our machines the simple fact is that our consumers are unable to get financing. We have continued to spend money in product development and overhead through 2008 and 2009 hoping to weather the storm. If the economy is improving we haven’t seen it.

We have been approached by several individuals hoping to buy into Ruesch Corporation which encouraged us in the short term but the same economy challenges Ruesch is experiencing have also affected investor’s ability to secure funding through traditional lending channels. We had a good product and high hopes but In the end it has been too little too late as we see ourselves walking the same road as Chrysler, Circuit City and hundreds of other companies much bigger than us.

We do not agree with all the comments made on this website nor do we agree with the cowardly way in which they have been represented. Anyone can say anything on the web. Just Google Chrysler rip off or even Yamaha Rip off. They both have hundreds of comments by people who don’t state their name and hide behind aliases.

Never the less, I do admit that people have been hurt by our inability to move forward and people have also lost money because they believed in the company and they believed in me. I have failed publicly, people have been hurt and it has been a terrible experience. If it was within my power to fix, I WOULD.

You lie.  A search of Utah public records show that you have a lengthy problem with bad credit, unpaid contratcors, unpaid suppliers (mostly for your Utah mansion) liens and other issues adding up to more than $180,000.00 just since 2006.  And it looks like you forfeited your $900,000.00 house in Utah which explains a lot.  You have two people promising lawsuits in the amount of $210,000.00 and that is just the start.  That's not chump change like you ripped me off for, James.  You keep most of your assets in your wife's name we discovered.  You do this to protect your stolen goods and services in a *planned* for bankruptcy filing.  That is called strategic planning and your BK judge will see it for what it is.  It isn't the economy that is killing you because Polaris is doing just great and their products are almost 3 times the price of yours.  Maybe if you paid the Chinese manufacturer they ould not have cut you off?

As for cowardly ...  What kind of man won't take calls and his wife hides in a back office while their teen aged family "employees" are made to answer phone calls from hostile creditors?  You are the coward.  What kind of man hires a small businessman to install new phone service and equipment knowing full well he wasn't going to pay all along?

If you're closing your doors why the hell don't you at least give me back the equipment I installed for you and you refuse to pay for?  Afraid to meet with me and deal with me like a man?  Yeah, I thought so.  So who's the coward, James?

We're not done.  I'll be watching the BK filings - I check them every day. 

After reading the last article all I can do is shake my head in disbelief and wonder if this is real. Unfortunatly, he is Mormon. I'm just wondering if he were Catholic or some other religion, would his religion have been brought up? I doubt it, but since he is Mormon, people of the world hold the Mormons to higher standards. ( I guess ) James Ruesch you are truly pathetic. I guess now I know why he packs a 9mm. He will never explain to anyone why he ruined peoples lives because it is never his fault. He always blames other people for his failures. He is stuborn and thinks that his way is the right way when many people have told him to do things differently. I hope he is brought to Justice and all the people he screwed out of Money, I hope they are able to recover most if it, if not all of it back. Since I am no longer part of the Ruesch ( ripoff) team, I have been amazed at the amount of calls I still receive inquiring about opening up a dealership and wanting to carry the Ruesch product. I give them this web site and tell them after they read it, if they are still interested, to call me back so we can discuss. ( It's funny because nobody calls me back ) To the gentleman that wrote the last article : I am truly sorry that he has ruined you and your families lives. I feel bad for everyone that sent that crook money. I hope and pray that you will recover from any damages that he may have inflicted on you and your family. People like the James Ruesche's of the world will get thier's in the end !!!!! Karma is a BITCH !!! I bet he sleeps with 1 eye open.

In closing I would like to say that just because he is of Mormon faith, please do not hold that against all Mormons of the world. There are Crooks and Con's of all religious beliefs, it just happens that he has to be a Mormon. I wish all of you out there that heve been taken by this so called "man", peace and prosperity in your future business and personal lifes.

I was an employee at "Ruesch motor company" only lasted about a month and a half. I left on voluntary dismissal. From the very beggining i knew they werent a well run company. I wont say much. But if you where at the so called Dealer training in the month of late august, or begginging of september of 2010. I have probably seen you there. In my head i knew you were gonna be dissapointed with the product. I knew there was something fishy about this business. i have alot to say and tell. If there are any Q's im here. try to get a hold of me. James ruesch is a lier, and stole many ppls hard earned money. made me feel stupid, and his spoiled lil son, is so self righteous, kid pissed me off becuz he thought he was superior to everyone else. I had always told myself nothing good will come to them if what i thought thy were doing was true. I called it out within a week of working there, and left before i became a target to their lil scam, cuz i didnt want to be apart of anything thy were doing.

We were the manufactuer and produced the UTV for Ruesch in the past. We are still in developing, and hope who are interesting our UTV, please do not heistated contact me.

And I am happy that some one contact me and already did something small things together. Hope I can do more for all of you and any others.

This report as well as others, from the same individual on multiple websites, are untrue. This is a malicious attack against James Ruesch and others associated with him and his family. Mr. Ruesch has managed companies worldwide.  Companies at this scale do not do business without being apposed by individuals and competing companies.

There is a right way and a wrong way to resolve conflict and resorting to online defamation is wrong for everyone.

Unfortunately this site will allow anyone to defame another without any due process or protection of the law. All that is needed to ruin a reputation is an email address. 

Anyone can create random emails and post here. It's unfortunate.

Having experienced a previous encounter with Mr. Ruesch some 25 years past I must say that much of the above commentary sounds all too familiar.  I will admit that James has expanded the scope of his ambitions over the years, far exceeding my expectations that he would merely excel at burying small contractors. It is worth noting that the character flaws described by the other commenters will at least keep him from hitting the big time.  James, you'll never be another Ponzi or Bernie Madoff.  You're just not that good. Stick to Snake Oil (now there's an apt metaphor!)

I believe you know who I am but just to confirm it, I'm the guy who donated his time and labor to construct a number of mechanical obstacles for a back-yard miniature golf course after you reneged on your contractual obligations.  My statements are not defamatory if they're true and I still have pictures and paperwork to back up my allegations.

To the former Ruesch employee who pointed out that "Karma is a Bitch", you're not the first one to bring that to his attention. After my former employer told him that "Karma" was going to get him eventually, James asked (in all seriousness) "This Karma- who is she?" Rest assured James, Karma is no lady!
