Ticketmaster Australasia Pty Ltd Provided misleading information Victoria Or Tasmania Internet

I bought tickets to a v8 supercar racing event.

We didn't purchase grandstand seats, but ticketmaster issued us grandstand seating arrangements which I kept with the invoice and it had it printed on the tickets as well.

I filed a formal complaint to both ticketmaster and the raceway it was held at because of event staff disapproving us to those seats that were clearly printed on the summary invoice and tickets. We were rudely spoken to from the event staff as well. After a few weeks of hearing back from ticketmaster they rang my mobile which I recorded the details of the persons name and the phone number.

They said they couldn't help me with my enquiry or couldn't offer me anything because of the tickets only being purchased as admission pass and pit pass, but I told the person why do you put details of grandstand seating arrangements on my summary detailed report when we didn't have any to start off with. The lady says it's because if those seats were to become available, then we would admission you into those seats. I felt violated that such a company could put misleading information on a ticket and summary report and think customers wouldn't care. We were very upset with the information provided and the way this lady delt with the information.
