There are laws in place to prevent this type of treatment from occuring. If this statement was true, I would not have maintained the position I hold now as central Florida's leader in real estate investments. I take pride in making sure I work with my tenents especially in these economic times. As a result, I have many tenants that are pleased with the homes they are renting and the treatment they receive. As a landlord, there are measures that must be followed before someone can be removed from the property when they don't adhere to the terms of a rental contract. Unfortunately, there are no equivalent laws to protect business owners from false accusations.
This claim is not true and has no basis. In this setting, there is no way to know who makes the claims. But it certainly would be a great environment for other businesses, who are not as successful, to try to tarnish a reputation of others for their own gain, which is not good business.
