Amerecord & Hilltop Record Companies The real story about these recording companies! Hollywood, California

I have been reading the several reports about Amerecord and Hilltop Recording Companies and would like to let people know that I also have been involved with both of these companies. I wrote a blog earlier last week about Amerecord Co., and recently I saw other reports about Hilltop Co.  In the blog about Amerecord, I stated that I had lost about $500 on their proposal to record two of my "love songs". I also sent them in music for a Christmas Song to be recorded, but found after they did not respond in the two week period as was promised, that they had skipped town with the money and with no address of where to be found! Hilltop Records has also recorded some of my songs, and in the cases of both companies, have sent royalty payments for the sale of the CD's that were produced. I understand why people are upset over the amount of money that they expected as a return on their investment."It ain't gonna happen"! This is how these companies are making their living, and they have to take more money into their coffers than what they pay out in order to survive! I realized this reality after the first year with Amerecord Co. One has to reason in this manner. There is a chance for a song writer to make it big if someone else sees the song you have written, and that's the reason why it states in the contract that you can make all that money if the record sells or someone else buys it! The money that they send back is nothing as compared to the money that you have sent them as part of the deal. It's nothing, but what they are selling you is a chance that maybe if somthing happens right, you may win. The chance is yours to take with a big risk of getting nothing in return. At least if you send in your music, your music is out there and maybe recognized for what it is, and for what what you have hoped for. I have sent a lot of money into both of these companies in the last 3 yrs. and have gotten little in return, but I still feel that I have accomplished something for myself, for now I have my song recorded! This is the feeling that you must be left with, for if you don't try, you'll never succeed!
