Mesquite, TxSteakley Chevrolet in Dallas is charging me over four hundred dollars to flush the fuel system of my 1998 Silverado Diesel truck due to the injector pump failure which caused the fuel tank to become contaminated. Warranty will replace the pump but will not cover flushing the fuel system. In other words, Steakley has to make their money back somewhere since they have to replace the injector pump at no cost. But $400+ to flush the system? Tell me this is not ridiculous!!!

Just to set the record straight, we did get paid by G.M to replace theninjector pump.We appealed to Cheverolet on the customer's behalf and G.M. denied to clean the fuel system.

They're out of business now. Back in 1982 my mom's 1981 monte carlo needed a tune up. they charged her for a V8 when she had a V6. Good riddance.
