Alltell has a one sided contract that reserves the right to bend over their consumers in the future for more money at anytime! Even after you signed a 2 year contract for $49.99, unlimited local calling, no roaming in certain geographical areas.

I get a letter in the mail today from Alltel's corporate office from a man named Chuck Toomer. In this letter it states the following:

In order to continue to bring you the best value in wireless service, we must occasionally make 'ADJUSTMENTS' to offset the cost of doing business. Accordingly, Effective July 16, 2001, the monthly rate for your wireless service will increase from $49.95 to $59.95. In addition, your roaming rate will be $0.99 per minute.

Keep in mind that we all signed a contract at $49.95 per month. But this only is good for the crappie ALLTEL. Just think of a roaming charge of $.99 a minute. That is a rip-off in it's self.

The above section should have read like this.

We here at Alltel knew we were making money selling the unlimited service at $49.95, but We wanted the right to bend over our consumers in the future, so we created a one sided contract the gives us the right to bend you consumers over at anytime in the future for more money and we reserve the right to go deep as we see fit. At this time we plan to push it 'and we all know what IT is 'in deeper until we get $10.00 per month out of your checking account. The best part of our contract, is the fact that we can break our agreement at ANYTIME !!! and you can't. Ha Ha Ha.

If they use the word adjustments in any letter to you, expect a strange feeling DEEP in your back side.

I urge you to post your rip-off report as an update onto mine right here and fax it and all of it to the corp office, and here is their sales fax number 1-501-906-6141 and their marketing fax number is 1-501-905-6200.

If one company gets it's consumers to sign a one sided contract and gets away with it, they all will try to BEND US OVER at any given time. If the president of any company wants a bigger home or a bigger boat you shall feel a strange feeling in the seat of your pants, So he or she can have a bigger home or a big new Mercedes Benz at our cost. In auto sales it is called A NUT IN THE BUTT.

Fax your rip-off report to their fax numbers SOON !!!!! Let's give them a need to buy more fax paper or new fax machine.

Rip-off Report is investigating the over selling of certain markets they operate in and other possible unscrupolous activity to their customers.

For instance. Do you know an Alltel customer that says they have a 100% antena signal and a full battery and the call keeps getting droped?

Your sitting in the same spot. Your expecting a phone call. You look at your antena strenth and it is 100% along with your battery. Your saying to yourself, where is the call I'm expecting? You then call the person you were expecting a call from, and they say, they have been trying to reach you and that your voice mail keeps picking up on the first ring? They also tell you they have left a message about an hour ago, and you have NO notification of such a message!
