las vegas, nvI gave my credit card# so this video company could try to find a video for me. After six months nothing. Now, out of the blue they charge my credit card three weeks ago and I have not received any video. AND I have been forbidden to go to their website to try to resolve this. They charged my credit card two days after making a regular payment which I find odd. 30 days later, now I see it on my statement. Why am I forbidden from their website? The only logical conclusion is that they are theives, crooks, bandits. Just because they live in Saskatoon they think they can pull a scam on U.S. citizens. Well, Saskatoon isn't that far away for me to drive up there and kick your ass!

Chargebacks are a God send
Michael,
Call your credit card company right away and file a fraud complaint for a chargeback.
I have a written rule for anyone or any company that wants to get into e-commerce. Once the money crosses the border, it's gone. I suggest Americans avoid purchasing things from another country. It's too tempting for the fraudsters not to go for it.

If fraudulent seller is in Canada?
If you have been ripped off by a fraudulent seller in Canada, best to contact local police in the seller's jurisdiction - in many places this will be the RCMP http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca
Unlike the US, there is no 'postal inspector' as a separate office for dealing with mail fraud.
