Key Largo, FLA Credit Card Company that allows companies to rip you off. Used their credit card at Circuit City to buy a computer. The com 1 port on the computer was defective. Both the dummies at Circuit City and the support staff at Hewertt Packard could not resolve the issue............Took back to get a refund and they charged me 131.00 open box charge......Disputed it with the credit card company and they said there was nothing they could do about it. Well here's what I'm going to do is not pay them $131.00 and let them collect it from Circuit City

NOT a good idea
Just not paying the $131.00 is NOT a good idea. They will not collect it from circuit city. You LEGALLY OWE your credit card company this money, as things stand right now.
They have every right to continue to charge you interest and late fees on that $131.00 if you don't pay it. This can also RUIN your credit. What you SHOULD do is pay that $131.00 off, and dispute that $131.00 charge again with your credit card company.
Make sure they have all the details and documentation they ask you for. HOPEFULLY the dispute will end in your favor. But if it does not, you have to bite the bullet and absorb that $131.00 unless you want to take them to court for it (and lawyer fees would probably be WAY more than that.)
No, it's not fair. It was a defective product. But just not paying it off is the WORST thing you can do.
