harrisburg, paThis company is so very scandolous, got laid off got behind in the mortgage payments. When I was 3 mos behind tried to pay them 2 to stop any procedures on our home and they would not accept it. That was in December 2001.
Went thru a state agency to see if we could get a emergency loan from them and Ocwen was not to proceed with anything while this process was going on, this is a state law in Pennsylvania.
Ocwen ignored this and continued this process and had the sheriffs coming to my home to serve papers. During this time we were working with a so called asset specialist with Ocwen to come up with a forberance agreement.
We decided to wait to hear from the state agency to make a decision on the forebence in these 5 mos our legal fees added to almost 7000.00, Still cant figure that one!
On April 13th we signed the forberance and wired 2000.00 to Ocwen in agreement to pay twice our normally mortgage payment monthly for 1 year to catch up.
Well today April 24th 2002 we received one more visit from the sheriffs office to let us know we are being sheriff saled on July 11th 2002!

Please if anyone is filing suit in the harrisburg, pa area please get in touch with me and my family. We are still facing foreclosure after our agreement, have made several calls to Ocwens 'asset specialist' but of course no one has returned our calls. We were suppose to make our huge mortgage payment yesterday and have not done it, they already took 2000.00, I was not sending another 1000.00. Please contact me!!

Sorry to hear we too are victims of Ocwen, We have already lost our fight with Ocwen. My family and I understand your plight. We need to organize and file a class action suit against OCWEN, we also had tried unsucessfully to adhere to all their outrages demands only to lose our home in the end.
I thought we lived in the USA guess we are mistaken although the last time I looked outside my window I saw what I thought was an AMERICAN FLAG or was it? It's to late for us . but maybe we could all learn from what has happened to my family, even after an agreement to leave our home they still sent the MAN. and believe it or not my husband is a retired Police Sergeant, Social or economic class mean nothing to these people. It must stop before you all end up in the street. They have succeeded in doing so to us we are wiped out financially,too !

My house was ILLEGALLY sold - to OCWEN, Also JURY found 'em guilty
of violation of the COnsumer protection Act regarding hiding fire insurance monies for repairs. But appeals and other tricks wound up getting the house demolished, and OCWEN STILL keeps insurance money that is NOT THEIRS. Many other things, but I put them in my OWN post. Let's face it. Ocwen isn't just harming us, but seems like at times, the company is badly managed as well!
Illegal Sheriff Sales w/Ocwen too!
The sale was set aside since it was in DIRECT VIOLATION of the bankruptcy case filed solely because of Ocwen's actions. Ocwen here in Michigan likes to collect tax money... escrow it... then not pay the taxes until close to tax sale time! So Ocwen didn't pay the taxes, then Ocwen bought the house at the tax sale!

I also live in PA and had a foreclosure from Ocwen. City records to date are twisted via Ocwen and the city. Did you contact anyone in PA govt?
Can the Pa Atty General's office look into this matter. The Ca. Atty General's office had a class action suit against Ocwen. Is the a update on the Nation wide class action law suit to date?
