Warning to all Homeowners! Don't be swindled by an incopetent, unlicensed Jack-Leg. I recently got a close look at some of Sheppard Builders work, and it made me sick!

The hook is when they get the unsuspecting Homeowner to act as the General Contractor, since Sheppard Builders aren't licensed. Then the trouble begins.

Sheppard 'built' a 4000 SF addition to a friends home. There isn't a straight and plum wall in the entire house! The walls are so wavey that drywall can't be installed and it even shows through the siding!

The roof looks like moguls on a ski slope. None of the rafters are cut the same. The gable endwalls are framed up without look-outs attached to the fly rafters, which are simply hanging from the roof sheathing.

The house was supposed to have 16' overhangs throughout; however, each continuous run of overhang ranges from 13' to 21'. All the Sub fascias and Rakes are out of level, not plum, and wavey, making them virtually impossible to finish.

A forty foot beam holding up the roof for the front porch is totally out of wack, looks like a roller-coaster! Now, he has left the job unfinished with his money and the Homeowners can't do anything about it because they didn't have a detailed contract! Don't let this Jack-Leg rip you off!
