This company is a nightmare!

For starters, it took them 2 months to get us into their data bases when they took over our mortgage. This put us into default! Then, no matter what we did to rectify the situation, they were never satisfied! They put our home into foreclosure.

In order to save the house, which I was paying for, on time, I did over the phone payments to AVOID late fees and missing payments, I agreed to a re-payment plan which raised my payments to astronomical rates--from around 500 a month to over 700! I agreed to this for an entire year!

After about 6 months of making these payments, something went wrong, it was as if I hadn't made ANY payments and they were demanding somewhere upwards of 3,000 dollars--now how can that be when I paid nearly 800 dollars a month for 6 months??

Where did all that money go??

They began refusing any payments I had to offer them, I tried working a deal with them and nothing worked! I couldn't gain any ground!

Finally, in August of 2002 I recieved a welcome letter from a new company. Countrywide Home Loans!!!!! I have read stories of them too!!

They claimed I was re-instated and things were going to be fine! WRONG!! Aurora Loan Services SOLD my home right out from under me in a secret auction--get this, for over 50 thousand dollars! Trust me, it's not worth that much! Anyways, whatever foreclosure proceedings they began, they did not stop once they sold to another company!!

ALS lawyers are all over the paperwork, and they claim it was Countrywide who did the selling! We recieved a 10 day notice to vacate the premises or the Marshall was coming to put us out--no one showed up. No marshall, nobody! No one came to claim the keys, the deed, nothing.

This company wouldn't work with us, would not return phone calls, claimed they sent workout packages when they didn't. Instead of trying to help us rectify the situation they continuously attmeped to raise payments, they also refused us a deferral because we didn't qualify financially for that option--yet they felt we could pay higer payments!!!

I NEVER spoke to the same Rep twice--yet in the refutes to my BBB complaints they claim I had! I'd call and ask for the person, only to be told they no longer worked there. It was Hell!!

Now, I have no home and live with relatives, I have no way of getting help, no lawyer will touch the case. And the BBB dropped me like a hot potatoe and never resolved the case no matter what I sent them as proof that this was done without my knowlege or consent.

Countrywide is equally to blame, and I am curious to find out if anyone out there knows if the 2 are somehow connected? If they are by chance running a con together. How can one company buy and re-instate a mortgage and the previous one sell the house with homeowner's knowlege??

Anyone who see this name on their mortgage BEWARE!! They are CONS!!!!!!!!!
