I was also taken advantage of by CMS. They gave me the same line about the sweepstakes. In fact they called me 3 different times, after I'd already ordered the magazines, wanting me to order more magazines and enter me into the sweepstakes.

Apparently, they don't keep good notes. They've already billed me twice and I still haven't received one single magazine. 6-8 weeks he says ... it's been at least 10. What a crock! They tried to get me to agree to lessen my bill after already calling them on 2 seperate occasions trying to cancel the service.

I'd like to know how they can have a 10 day money-back guarantee when you haven't gotten anything in 10 days to not want in the first place. They threatened to send my account to a collection agency (as if I don't have enough problems). I asked the man on the phone at CMS why they couldn't just get a refund for the magazines they'd paid for already and he said it wasn't that easy.

I refused to believe that so I called the magazine companies individually and they all said a refund would be 'No Problem'. When I told CMS about this they more or less told me they didn't want the refund. I won't let this go because no one should be forced to pay for something they don't want. I work way too hard for the little money I'm getting as it is.
