Glasgow, momy husband hurt his back was unable to work, we had no money to pay rent so we took out a 600.00 dollar note on our 94 saturn I had taken a new job for more money and it was in my first week of work I was short 75.00 of the 200.00 paymnet they refused to take a partial paymnt and came to my job and took my car i had no way home 50 miles away no money luckily a coworker went 89 miles out of his way to take me home , we had to come up with 500.00 to get our car out but thats not all they took all of our belongings and put it in storage with another company where we had to pay 325.00 just to get our personal belongings
I was so mad, so when i got the things out I had to renew my note because i didnt have the full amount of the loan which was a 500.00 note but somehow turned into 1,050 because of interest anyway we are haveing to move and with all the deposits im gonna be late on my paymnt again and there is no way i can pay it so needless to say they are going to get my car and now i wont be able to get it back and now we will be homeless and jobless so now what what does this letter do to help me how can i get out of this and get my money back
i have less than 2 weeks to move and i know they will come and get my car before than please find someone to help PLEASE

take'um to court
You can legaly take them to court if they refuse to accept a payment even if you are short. I was going through a divorce and was unable to make a full payment so I made a partial payment. The company refused my payment and tried to repo my car. I took them to court over the matter and they admitted that their policy was all or none. The judge ruled in my favor and closed the case as paid in full because they refused my parital payment.
so, then what?
I HIGHLY doubt if it was illegal, they would be telling you you can't make a partial payment. I'm assuming you signed a contract/agreement telling you how much your payment was? I had a title loan before, nowhere did it say 'it's ok if you can pay 100 if your payment is 200, no problem' Most places don't accept partial payments. Why? Because it isn't what you agreed to, and they lose money.
When you knowingly go into an office with a high interest rate using your car as collateral and take a loan out, and then you lose it. I can't feel bad for you. You knew what you were doing. If you couldn't pay it back then you shouldn't have taken out the loan to begin with. Desperate or not that is no excuse. I lost a car 4 years ago. It was MY fault because I couldn't pay for it. Of course I was mad, that's natural, but it's not the company's fault I didn't pay them it was my own.
It's amusing how so many people say its predatory lending. How do you figure that? You're the one that goes to them. They don't come to you.
They don't reposess your car---you get your car reposessed yourself.
