On August 19, 2002, I bought a refrigerator from HH Gregg and was told that the $39.95 delivery charge would be rebated but that I had to pay for it up front. Well, after countless phone calls to the store to check on the status of my refund, I was continuously told '2 more weeks'. I finally e-mailed customer service and gave them all of my information. Three days later, I got a check for only $29.95. It took them 14 weeks to rip me off. $10 is not much, but when you add up all the customers they are doing this to, it probably adds up to a lot of money. I wonder how many people actually forgot about their refund... That's another $40 for them.

Moral of the story...If you decide to buy anything from HH Gregg, do not let them charge you for a delivery and expect you to fill out a refund, send it in and then wait for your money. They want you to forget about it so they will never have to pay you.
