On September 14, 2001 my husband ordered the Abtronic fitness belt via an ACH withdrawal over the phone. He was told if he paid in full using this method he would receive the belt faster plus get 'extras'.

It took them until November 6, 2001 to make the withdrawal from his checking account. They charged him $134.75 plus $61.00.

We still have not received the Abtronic belt and it is now nearing the end of 2002. We have contacted Abtronic on several occasions. Each time we are told to fax over 'proof of purchase'. We have faxed over the bank statement, clearly stating their company name on it, plus a copy of the check my husband used over the phone. We are told to give it a few days to research and when we call back they say they have no record of us in their 'system' or that we had called them a few days prior. This tap and dance has been going on for over a year now.

We have even contacted two consumer advocate agencies with no luck. We are told that this company is merely trying to exhaust us.

We will not be exhausted. Buyers beware of this company. Do not purchase anything through them.
