I just wanted everyone to be aware of the problems with buying a Ford and what dealership you take it to to have it worked on.

I bought my 1999 Escort from Planet Ford in Spring. This was my first car that I had ever received. I was very excited. The first year was great and then just after the car two years old that's when the problems started.

The first thing I had replaced were the engine mounts because the vibrating in the car was so rough it practically shook the car. The total number of times I had those replaced was 4 times.

The second problem I had was when the fuel pump and the houseing needed to be replaced. Thank goodness the warranty covered that.

The third problem was when the service engine light came on. I sent the car in to have it fixed and I had to keep taking it back because they could not fix the problem. I had to have a car for a month so they could fix the car.

My other problems consist of the air condintioning went out, and really other minor problems.

The one I am really disgusted about is the transmission. I had 5 transmissions put in my car. My car was only 3 years old. It would shutter when you tried to stop. It would stick when you took off from a complete stop. A.C. Collind Ford could never fix the problem and they basically drove my car until my extended warranty was out.

I want everyone to know that beware when buying a Ford. Customer service is even worse. I had called them everytime the car was in the shop and complained. Their explantion was to keep taking it back to the dealership and let then right their wrong. There is only some many times you can take it back before you become really teed off. I had tried for 2 years to get a egineer down to Texas to let them look at my car. Nothing happened with that.

BEWARE!!! Ford will screw you anyway they can. They do not care about the consumer and the vehicle they buy. All they care about is their precious company and the money they make.

You would think with a company that big they would stand behind the products that they put out. That just shows you that their Ford products are not Ford tough.

Just recently I bought Chevrolet and could not be happier!
