Ripoff Report Verified Safe

Subaru Of America Known head gasket defect in EJ25 motors Model years 96, 97, 98,99 ; Cherry Hill08034-6000; Cherry Hill New Jersey .....

Subaru EJ25 four cylinder motors have a known headgasket defect on model years 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999.

Subaru dealers will not diagnose overheating problem until after warranty period is over. Subaru of America dealers will attempt to stick the bill to the owners.

Those owners who scream and pitch a fit will receive Subaru of America cost's to its dealer program to repair the problem; regardless of car's mileage.

Subaru of America has asked its national network of dealers to bury the problem.
