My wife and I had just purchased a 2000 Audi TT Coupe. When we went to the dealership, not only were we treated as if we could not buy the car, they had sold it as a certified pre-owned car. The vehicle only had 17k miles on it, however, it made it through 'THEIR' certification with a missing liscense plate bracket, only 1 key, and most importantly, broken door locks and windows. After we noticed the major issues (window and locks) on the same day we purchased it, they told us to wait until the key came in and that it was an easy fix. The car has been in the shop with the MASTER TECH (the same guy that CERTIFIED it in the first place) and they still cant find the problem.

Now. we have to make a payment on a car that has been in the shop for coming up on 2 weeks! I have heard of other issues w/ the Checkered Flag Chain, this just confirms what I have heard. So, if anyone out there is looking for a GOOD used car, I can tell you where NOT to go. The best part is, when I went to talk to the manager, he acted like he didn't even know who I was. Icing on the cake!
