I opened a Levtiz credt account and bought a bedroom set for my son. I had no problems with this transaction. I made all my payments on time and with extra money so the set was paid in full before the due date.

When I went shopping for a new sofa I wanted to put in on my Leviz account. The customer service rep. Said NO, I was a deadbeat and was deliquent in my account. I informed her she was wrong and ask her to check again.

She got very rude said it was not her job to check my credit. I needed to pay my bills on time. She was very loud and several customers stopped to listen to the conversation. I was embarrassed. A different clerk came by to calm the situation down. This second clerk checked the account only to find the first clerk put in the wrong name and account number.

Neither the clerk nor the store management apologized for making a scene, people staring at me like I was a deadbeat trying to rip off the company.

I destroyed the card in front of the manager and have never been back inside a Levitz store.
